The first two episodes of Star Trek: Starfleet Academy will be available on Paramount+ starting January 15th. This new series, the twelfth installment in the Star Trek franchise and created by Gaia Violo with Alex Kurtzman overseeing the expanded Star Trek Universe, offers a fresh perspective. Instead of following a starship crew, it focuses on a new group of Starfleet cadets – the first in over a hundred years. The series explores their journey to becoming officers, along with the challenges of new friendships, intense rivalries, and first loves, all while facing a dangerous new enemy.

Since its release last year, Sakamoto Days has become very popular on Netflix, and Season 2 is on its way. The series is expanding even further with a new live-action movie, set to premiere in Japan this spring. Recently, two new cast members – Lu and Heisuke – were revealed with special posters, giving fans a first look at their characters in live-action. You can see the posters below.
