The recent announcement of the new Dragon Ball project, Age 1000, is incredibly exciting. The reveal trailer offers just a glimpse, featuring a character with a transformation similar to those seen in Xenoverse, and suggests this could be the game fans have always wanted. Although nothing is official yet, the look and feel of Age 1000 hint that it might be the Dragon Ball sequel the community has been eagerly anticipating.

Code Vein 2 tells a new story, separate from the first game, but still takes place in the same world. While some players are disappointed by this, my biggest issue is with the game’s world design. The original Code Vein had spacious areas without being a fully open world, but Code Vein 2 has embraced that trend, and it ultimately makes the game less enjoyable. Elden Ring proved that a soulslike game can work well in an open world, but this new approach doesn’t suit Code Vein 2.

As a big fan of The Batman universe, I was a little bummed to hear that both Colin Farrell’s Penguin and Cristin Milioti’s Sofia Falcone won’t be major players in the sequel. It’s not just the next movie either – Milioti hasn’t even been contacted about a potential return for The Penguin series! Director Matt Reeves explained that they were so far along in writing the script when The Penguin aired that it didn’t really fit. But he did say he thinks she’s fantastic and was really impressed with her performance in the show, so maybe there’s still hope for her character down the line. It’s a shame though, because I really enjoyed what she brought to the world!

This fighting system lets characters develop unique combat styles built on fundamental techniques called jutsu. While many types of jutsu exist, ninjutsu and taijutsu are the most frequently used. Genjutsu is rarer, mastered by only a few. Beyond these common techniques, the series features incredibly powerful, but dangerous, abilities considered forbidden due to the harm they can inflict on both the user and their opponents.

Director Dean DeBlois announced the start of production for How to Train Your Dragon 2 on his X account (formerly Twitter). He shared a photo of himself with the film’s clapboard, marking the first day of shooting. He wrote, “Back in the saddle! Day 1 of principal photography on HTTYD2! The adventure begins.”

Bandai Namco’s new action RPG, while mechanically sound and built on the success of games like Elden Ring and the Souls series, suffers from a lack of visual appeal and a repetitive storyline.
