In the original “Jujutsu Kaisen”, there were plenty of monstrous entities that could easily be confused with creatures from another planet. However, in this fresh take, Modulo has infused actual aliens into the storyline. Introducing the Simurians, an alien race numbering 50,000, who have landed on Earth in a spaceship in this future narrative. The character Inspector Marulu Val Vol Yelvori, disguised as an alien, is already part of the scene. This series now promises a clash between the supernatural and extraterrestrial beings, reminiscent of “Dandadan”. This unexpected twist undoubtedly grabs readers’ interest right from the start.

Julie Taymor, known for her groundbreaking work on films like Frida and the Broadway adaptation of Disney’s The Lion King, crafted a psychedelic journey using The Beatles’ music in the movie Across the Universe. In this tale, Jim Sturgess portrays Jude, a young Englishman on a quest to locate his long-lost father. Upon arriving in America, Jude embarks on an extraordinary journey where he befriends a colorful group of outsiders, all trying to make sense of life amidst the tumultuous counterculture of the 1960s. Along this adventure, they grapple with love, war, and mortality.

The overall direction of the DC Universe is becoming increasingly apparent, as James Gunn hints at a revealing plot twist in Season 2 of Peacemaker. Prior to this reveal, however, there’s a rich tapestry of DC lore and a multitude of potential villains that could emerge as a ruthless dictator on screen.
