Streaming services are all striving to earn customer trust and loyalty. Netflix has consistently been a major player in this space since the beginning. They used to be known for rescuing shows that other networks cancelled, but lately, they’ve also been the ones to end popular series, which many fans find frustrating. J. Michael Straczynski is famous for his work on *The Amazing Spider-Man*, but he first made a significant impact in comics at Image Comics. While Image is now known for groundbreaking titles, back then it primarily published typical superhero comics that emphasized artwork over storytelling. Straczynski joined Marc Silvestri’s Top Cow Studios and created *Rising Stars*, a book that has largely been overlooked. *Rising Stars* is a truly exceptional comic that deserves to be mentioned alongside classics like *Watchmen*. It’s a hidden gem, a lesser-known masterpiece that deserves a wider audience.

If you enjoy thrilling creature features, you won’t want to miss *Crawl*, the 2019 horror film now available on Tubi, Fox’s free streaming service. Directed by Alexandre Aja, the movie follows a father (Barry Pepper) and daughter (Kaya Scodelario) as they struggle to survive a Category 5 hurricane in Florida – and a terrifying encounter with massive alligators in their home’s crawl space. The cast also includes Morfydd Clark, Ross Anderson, Jose Palma, Colin McFarlane, George Somner, Anson Boon, and Ami Metcalf.

Gearbox CEO Randy Pitchford responded to criticism regarding the game’s performance by claiming that issues are limited to a small number of players. He asked PC gamers to acknowledge that older computers may not be powerful enough to run a high-quality game like *Borderlands 4*.

Armonica’s new game, *Detective Instinct: Farewell, My Beloved*, is coming to the Nintendo eShop on November 26th. It will be a Nintendo exclusive at launch, meaning it won’t be available on any other consoles besides Steam.

Peacock added several new movies to its streaming service in early September, including three popular films often considered to be among Quentin Tarantino’s best. Fans can now stream his debut film, *Reservoir Dogs*, as well as the Western *Django Unchained* and *The Hateful Eight*.
