Shuri was first introduced in Marvel Comics on March 16, 2005, in Black Panther (Vol. 4) #2, as a previously unknown sister. She’s since become an important character in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
This season of Frieren doesn’t significantly advance the overall story as the characters travel through the North, but each episode is well-crafted and enjoyable on its own. While all episodes in Season 2 are strong, a few are particularly memorable.

I have to say, when adaptations get it right, they really get it right. These fantasy films prove why taking a beloved book to the big screen can be so magical. They don’t get lost in all the world-building and special effects; instead, they manage to create a truly spectacular experience while still keeping the characters relatable and engaging. This movie absolutely nails that balance.
According to leaker KeplerL2, who believes the PlayStation 6 is still on schedule for a 2027 release, the estimated cost to manufacture the console is around $760. They suggest a retail price of $699 could be feasible if Sony provides some financial support. However, they question whether Sony will prioritize this now that Microsoft’s Xbox isn’t posing as much of a competitive threat.
Dave Filoni shared on X (formerly Twitter) that the comic Maul: Shadow Lord will incorporate ideas George Lucas originally had for the character. Filoni explained that he and Lucas discussed Maul’s potential storylines over the years, and this comic is a way to realize some of those plans. He sees it as honoring the future Lucas envisioned for Maul.
It’s clear Ryan Gosling should have become a huge box office star a long time ago. Two of his films that didn’t do well were similar in tone to Project Hail Mary. In 2017, Blade Runner 2049 earned just $276.6 million worldwide, despite costing between $150 and $185 million to make. A year later, his film First Man only brought in $105.7 million globally. It’s unfortunate these excellent movies weren’t successful, and with Project Hail Mary doing so well now, it’s a great time to remember Gosling’s previous sci-fi and space roles.
Created by sitcom veteran Chuck Lorre, Mike & Molly featured Melissa McCarthy (known for Bridesmaids and Identity Thief) and Billy Gardell (Young Sheldon, You, Me, and Dupree) as a couple. The show followed Mike, a police officer, and Molly, a teacher, who met at an Overeaters Anonymous meeting. They fell in love while supporting each other through their struggles with food, and Molly eventually left teaching to become a writer.
Okay, so I just stumbled across this movie on Netflix called The Battleship Island. It’s a South Korean action drama from 2017, and honestly, it shines a light on a part of World War II I’d never really seen explored in film before. If you’re a war movie fan like me, you seriously need to check this one out.
