Marvel’s mismanagement of the X-Men franchise is evident as they allowed Hickman to depart from the series and prolonged the Krakoa Era for financial gains – a period that kept Marvel afloat during COVID times. The continuation, “From the Ashes,” unfortunately carries on this misstep. The X-Men comics are plagued with issues, and it appears there’s no genuine desire to rectify them. Despite being one of Marvel’s most iconic franchises, I fear that at this point, the X-Men may be beyond repair.

The Episode with Phoebe and Rachel’s Silly Run” or “The Running Episode”

In the episode titled “The Running Episode,” it wasn’t just about Phoebe (Lisa Kudrow) and Rachel’s (Jennifer Aniston) amusing jogging, Chandler’s (the late Matthew Perry) tidying up Monica’s (Courteney Cox) apartment while she was away, or Joey (Matt LeBlanc) gaining a new flatmate. This particular installment also featured Ross (David Schwimmer) attempting to impress the new roommate of Joey’s with an intriguing tale. In the story, Ross (David Schwimmer) explained to Janine (Elle Macpherson), “By the year 2030, we might have computers that can perform functions equivalent to a human brain. In theory, you could upload your thoughts and memories into this computer, and continue to exist as a machine, potentially living forever.

In the trailer, it’s clear that although other leaders, or Hashira, might not appear as prominent initially, they are by no means sidelined. The character of Obanai Iguro, the Snake Hashira, is notably present from the start. The story unfolds in a massive demon assault on the Demon Slayers who are trapped within the shifting labyrinth known as the Infinity Castle. Surviving this chaotic fortress and repelling constant attacks will require more than just brute strength; it demands quick thinking too, a trait the Hashira possess in abundance. From the trailer, it appears that Iguro’s first significant action in the final battle against the onslaught of demons will be to utilize his intellectual prowess effectively.

As a devoted fan, I found Season 2 of “The Last of Us” deeply engaging as it delved into the complex bond between Joel and Ellie following her discovery of his deception regarding Salt Lake City in the finale of Season 1. The unique immunity that Ellie possesses due to Cordyceps allowed a Firefly doctor to potentially create a cure from her brain tissue, but this would have meant her demise. In a heart-wrenching turn, Joel chose to save her life by eliminating most of the Fireflies, including Abby’s father – a move that was believed to make it impossible for the cure to be made. However, contrary to belief, this is not the final verdict on the possibility of creating a cure.
