At New York Comic Con, AMC shared a longer preview of season 3 of *Interview With the Vampire*, now officially called *The Vampire Lestat*. While fans saw a sneak peek at San Diego Comic-Con earlier this year, this new trailer shows just how much tension there is between Louis (Jacob Anderson) and Lestat, and gives a great look at Lestat (Sam Reid) as a rock star.

It’s really frustrating when a movie you once loved just… doesn’t hold up. Sometimes it’s the special effects – what looked amazing then now looks so dated. Other times, you rewatch it and realize the story wasn’t as strong as you remembered, or you start noticing how cheaply it was made. It can be one thing, or a combination, but the result is always the same: people turn on it. I’m going to share five sci-fi films that were once considered classics, but now pretty much everyone hates.

The first season of Hazbin Hotel concluded with Charlie and her allies successfully defending Hell against an attack from Heaven, led by the formidable Adam. Following Adam’s defeat, his second-in-command, Lute (voiced by Jessica Vosk), is seeking revenge. She continues to communicate with Adam mentally and is preparing for another battle, as shown in the song “Gravity.” The second season is scheduled to premiere on Amazon Prime Video on October 29th, and promises more musical numbers from both the heroes and villains, continuing the trend established in season one.

The latest season of *My Hero Academia* started last week with a dramatic return to the intense battle between All Might and All For One. The recent episode reached a peak moment when All Might found himself with no more strategies to defeat the villain. Just when it seemed hopeless for the former top hero, the episode ended with a surprising twist: a major character who was thought to be dead has returned. Spoiler alert: major plot details from the latest season follow!

A new fan illustration posted on Instagram shows Doctor Doom defeating Mister Fantastic in a fight, potentially leading to Reed Richards’ death. Pedro Pascal, who will play Mister Fantastic in the 2025 movie *The Fantastic Four: First Steps*, made his debut in the Marvel Cinematic Universe in that film, which also secretly featured Robert Downey Jr. as Doctor Doom. The two characters are set to clash in *Avengers: Doomsday*, and this artwork hints that the battle could have a grim outcome.

At WWE Crown Jewel, Tiffany Stratton and Stephanie Vaquer faced off in the first of two championship matches. More than just a title was at stake, as Stratton entered the match with an undefeated record in 2025, having defeated top stars like Charlotte Flair, Nia Jax, and Trish Stratus. However, Vaquer proved to be Stratton’s undoing, winning the WWE Crown Jewel Championship and ending Stratton’s winning streak.

I’m really excited about Season 4 of *Invincible*! It looks like Mark and the team are going to have a lot of new enemies to deal with, but one villain, Thragg, is going to be a major, ongoing threat – even beyond this season. They just gave fans a first look at how Thragg will appear in the animated series at New York Comic Con 2025, and he seems like a seriously powerful opponent for Mark.

Full Metal Alchemist The Stage is a popular live-action stage play series in Japan based on Hiromu Arakawa’s well-known story. Over the past few years, two series of performances have brought the adventures of Edward and Alphonse to life on stage, featuring many characters from the anime. Recently, the production announced the actors who will play Edward Elric in performances next year, running from February 7th to 15th. Yohei Isshiki and Ryota Hirono will share the role of the main character. While it’s currently unknown if this stage play will be released internationally, previous performances of Full Metal Alchemist The Stage were made available on YouTube.
