Tim Burton’s 2016 film, Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children, based on the 2011 novel by Ransom Riggs, will be removed from HBO Max on November 30th. While the movie did well in theaters and received generally positive reviews (with a 65% score on Rotten Tomatoes), it didn’t stay in the public consciousness for very long. The story follows a teenager who finds a home for children with special abilities, and stars Eva Green, Asa Butterfield, Ella Purnell, Judi Dench, and Samuel L. Jackson.

The original Zootopia was a huge hit for Disney, earning over $1 billion worldwide and winning an Academy Award. With its imaginative world and charming main characters, Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde, a sequel seemed inevitable. However, Disney took almost ten years to develop Zootopia 2, and it appears this new installment will be even more ambitious than the first, suggesting many more adventures are in store for the beloved characters.

Like last year, there will be multiple in-person events, followed by a larger global event weekend. Niantic usually shares more details closer to the event date to build excitement. Here’s what’s been announced so far about Pokémon Go Tour: Kalos.

The movie clearly draws a lot of inspiration from Army of Darkness, but the main character isn’t quite as silly as Ash. The director knows he’s leaning into those influences, and while it’s over-the-top, it’s not played for laughs. The film opens with a knight quickly overwhelmed by a horde of monstrous creatures resembling a mix of Psycho Goreman and Power Rangers villains. Just when it seems hopeless, a hero arrives in dramatic slow motion, his face mostly hidden. He expertly defeats the monsters, showing more skill than previous installments of the series (at least the first two – I haven’t seen parts 3 and 4 yet). But after the battle, he immediately starts looting the fallen knight, taking his rings and even an amulet hidden under his armor, ignoring the dying man’s protests.
