Players will experience frightening encounters with dinosaurs and difficult obstacles, while also learning about Maya’s emotional and mental journey throughout the game.
Yannick Belzil, the narrative designer for Marvel Cosmic Invasion, recently visited Crossover Comics in Montreal to discuss the comic book inspirations behind the game. He explained that the 2006 event series Annihilation had the biggest impact on Cosmic Invasion, particularly in shaping the character of Annihilus, who serves as the game’s primary villain. The game draws heavily from Annihilation for the personalities of Annihilus and other enemies, but presents them with a brighter, more family-friendly aesthetic.
