Predator: Badlands Thursday Box Office Lower Than Alien: Romulus

As reported by Deadline, Predator: Badlands made $4.8 million during preview showings on Wednesday and Thursday. This is more than the $2.5 million earned by Shane Black’s The Predator in 2018, but less than the $6.5 million Alien: Romulus took in during its previews last summer.

Shonen Jump Cancels Another Underrated Series

I saw the news on X (formerly Twitter) from @WSJ_manga, a source I trust for updates on Shonen Jump series. Apparently, the manga, which started in February, will finish with chapter 22. They haven’t announced the exact release date for that final chapter yet, but since it’s published every two weeks, it should be out before the year ends. This isn’t the first time these creators have worked together – back in 2022, they released Teruteru Construction Co. Ltd. on the same platform. That manga also had just 24 chapters, but it didn’t get a lot of attention, so there isn’t much information about it available.

5 Marvel Characters From The ’70s Who Are Totally Cringe Now

Despite sometimes trying too hard to appeal to everyone, Marvel comics of the 1970s were remarkably daring. This was the decade when comics started to mature, ambitiously addressing important social topics like racism, women’s equality, drug abuse, and political dishonesty – issues many other media outlets shied away from. However, this eagerness to stay current also led Marvel to sometimes go overboard with its creative choices.

7 Stunning Movie Twists You Never Saw Coming

A clever plot twist can dramatically improve a movie, just as a poorly executed one can ruin it. When done well, a surprising twist can make a story much more engaging, especially if it comes completely out of the blue. The most effective twists feel surprising yet believable, adding a memorable flourish to the narrative and making the movie truly stand out.

Hazbin Hotel Season 2 Smashes Several Records Following Series Return

The animated series Hazbin Hotel is currently a top ten hit on Amazon Prime in fifty countries, which isn’t surprising given its popularity – it was even recognized by Guinness World Records as one of the most in-demand animated shows recently. Beyond its streaming success, the show’s music is also making waves. Currently, Hazbin Hotel songs hold the top three spots on the US Apple iTunes chart: “Piss (A Love Song)” at number one, “Don’t You Forget (Reprise)” at number two, and “Clean It Up!” at number three. This demonstrates how quickly the show has gained a large and dedicated following.

Alan Ritchson Confirms He’s In Talks With DCU For “Messier” Role

So, I was reading an interview with Alan Ritchson over at ScreenRant, where he was talking about his new movie, Playdate. The interviewer, Liam Crowley, naturally asked about the possibility of him joining James Gunn’s DCU. And get this – Ritchson pretty much confirmed he’s actually in talks! He even described the potential role as being a bit of a “messier” character, which honestly sounds amazing. He didn’t say much more, but it’s definitely exciting news for fans like me!

Viggo Mortensen’s The Road Is Too Disturbing to Rewatch Thanks to 1 Single Scene

Viggo Mortensen is known for choosing interesting and often independent films, consistently demonstrating his range as an actor. He’s proven his abilities in movies like The Dead Don’t Hurt and Captain Fantastic. While many know him for his kind personality and heroic characters, such as Aragorn, he frequently takes on surprisingly dark roles. In 2009, he appeared in a particularly intense thriller, and one scene was so shocking it made the movie incredibly difficult to watch – even now, 16 years later, it remains a challenging experience for even devoted fans.

Before “Ruining Star Wars,” Rian Johnson Created “One of the Best Sci-Fi Movies in Years” and It’s a Streaming Hit

Rian Johnson’s sci-fi film, Looper, is currently popular on Starz, ranking as the ninth most-watched movie on the platform. While some fans disagree with his work on Star Wars: The Last Jedi, Looper, released in 2013, is widely praised as a standout original sci-fi movie. The film boasts a strong cast, including Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Bruce Willis, Emily Blunt, Paul Dano, and Jeff Daniels. Before becoming known for his mystery films, Johnson wrote and directed Looper, which many consider one of the best sci-fi movies of the 2010s.

20 Highest-Paid TV Actors Of All Time

It’s common for TV actors to make a few thousand dollars per episode, but some now earn millions, which is incredible. This makes you wonder if all actors on a show get paid the same amount. From networks like HBO and ABC, these performers are truly the best in the business, and they’re being handsomely rewarded.
