The third season of Jujutsu Kaisen will begin airing in January, but fans can see some of it sooner in theaters. A new movie, featuring key moments from the Shibuya Incident arc (originally in season two), will also include the first two episodes of season three. Now, an exclusive IMAX screening has been announced, bringing these early premieres to theaters even earlier than expected.
Harrison Ford consistently delivered strong performances in numerous films, often appearing in standalone projects that didn’t require long-term commitments. While most were one-time roles, some, like Blade Runner, unexpectedly spawned sequels. Blade Runner 2049 arrived 35 years later and, despite modest box office success, was a critically acclaimed film. However, another of Ford’s futuristic movies wasn’t as well-received, failing to connect with audiences or earn significant revenue.
I’ve run into a few problems while playing Obsidian’s new game, and one was especially frustrating. Luckily, it seems the developers at The Outer Worlds 2 were paying attention, because they just released a patch that fixes it!
David Krumholtz, who plays Zor-El in the upcoming Supergirl movie, recently spoke with Nerdtropolis about how the film will closely follow the Woman of Tomorrow graphic novel it’s based on. He confirmed that the movie will be very faithful to the source material, and also revealed that Jason Momoa will be playing Lobo in the film. Essentially, the movie will combine the story from the comic book with the character of Lobo.
On October 31st, HBO Max removed not only Tim Burton’s Corpse Bride, but also several original animated movies starring Superman and Batman. Although DC animated content has moved from HBO Max to other streaming services like Netflix, Tubi, and Amazon Prime Video before, it’s currently unclear where these specific films will end up. Marvel is currently facing challenges, and there’s talk that Brian Michael Bendis might return. Bendis played a huge role in making Marvel so successful in the 2000s and was a fan favorite for a long time. He left in 2018, spending time at DC Comics and with independent publishers. While his return in 2026 could potentially shake things up, there are several good reasons why he probably shouldn’t come back.
If you enjoyed the classic RPG Baldur’s Gate: Dark Alliance, you’ll be interested in War in the North. The studio behind it, Snowblind Studios, later merged with Monolith – the team that created the highly acclaimed Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor. Before that, in 2011, they released The Lord of the Rings: War in the North, and it’s a surprisingly fun game worth revisiting.
Over the years, many science fiction movies have captivated viewers, but only a handful of opening scenes have truly become iconic.
