Marvel Studios has been subtly suggesting the introduction of the Midnight Sons, a team of supernatural heroes and antiheroes originally created for Marvel Comics in 1992. This group specializes in magic and the mystical arts, and fans are excited about the possibility of seeing existing MCU characters – including sorcerers, monsters, gods, and witches – join forces as the Midnight Sons. This could create the most powerful, unpredictable, and diverse superhero team the MCU has ever seen.

Griesemer, who previously worked as a level designer—and even a design lead on Halo 2 and 3—wasn’t happy with some of the changes shown in the gameplay of ‘The Silent Cartographer.’ He specifically pointed out that the ability to drive the Warthog over obstacles to run down the Hunters wasn’t intentional. He’d deliberately placed rocks to force players to fight them on foot, and allowing players to simply destroy those obstacles ruined the planned encounter. He also wasn’t pleased with the addition of trees to the landing area of the ‘WooHoo Jump.’

The game is built on the original code from Halo: Combat Evolved, but uses the Unreal Engine 5 to create its graphics. Switching to Unreal Engine 5, combined with that original Halo code, will help the team continue developing the game.

Players will need to keep using the 2020 version of the game because the new Halo: Campaign Evolved won’t include player-versus-player (PvP) modes. Halo Studios shared this news in an interview with Windows Central.

One positive sign for fans of the series is that Jennifer Hale, the original voice of Commander Shepard, is open to reprising a role. She told IGN she’s happy to voice any character, not just the one she’s known for.
