As a huge movie fan, I’m thrilled to hear that all three Back to the Future films are coming to Netflix on November 1st! This franchise, directed by Robert Zemeckis, really cemented Fox’s place as a major star in Hollywood – it’s amazing to think about how popular it was. And it’s funny to remember he was also starring in Family Ties at the same time! It all started back in 1985 with the first Back to the Future movie, which he made with Robert Gale. It’s the story of Marty McFly, a teenager played by Fox, who accidentally travels back in time in a DeLorean created by his eccentric scientist friend, Doc Brown, brilliantly played by Christopher Lloyd.

Many anime series, including One Piece, include episodes that aren’t based on the original source material—often called “filler.” This happens because anime production can move faster than the creation of the manga they’re adapting, especially if the manga is still being written. Toei Animation, the studio behind One Piece, has used filler episodes several times over the years. Below, you’ll find a list of these optional story arcs that weren’t written by the original author. While these arcs don’t affect the main storyline of One Piece, they can still be enjoyable to watch.

To make the show more grounded, The Boys toned down some of the more extreme elements from the original comics. For example, the alien character Jack from Jupiter was replaced with Translucent, who can alter his skin. The team’s flying headquarters was also changed to a regular skyscraper. Generally, the powers gained from Compound V affect a person’s body or biology, rather than manipulating the world around them.

It’s surprising to realize the last Star Wars film, The Rise of Skywalker, came out in 2019. While we’ll finally get a new movie next year with The Mandalorian and Grogu, several other Star Wars films have been canceled or put on hold.
