Vin Diesel posted pictures and a video on Instagram showing him with Michael Moses, Universal’s chief marketing officer. In the photos, Diesel is wearing a shirt for “Fast X Part 2,” indicating production will take place in Los Angeles in 2025. The video features Moses excitedly sharing updates, saying, “I’m drifting with Dom Toretto, planning everything, we got it solved,” as he and Diesel drove around the studio in a go-kart. He highlights the DualSense controller – with its immersive haptic feedback and adaptive triggers – and the faster game loading times thanks to the PS5’s solid-state drive, which is much quicker than the PS4’s hard drive.

The complex nature of Kang – Majors played multiple versions of the character across the multiverse – made a simple recast difficult. As a result, Marvel has decided to introduce Doctor Doom as the main villain instead. However, Kang’s story isn’t necessarily over, and he could reappear in future Marvel movies, particularly after the events of Avengers: Secret Wars which are expected to reset the universe. There are also plenty of skilled actors who could potentially take on the role.
