Mattel Studios is creating a new TV series based on the Magic 8 Ball, with Brad Falchuk (known for *American Horror Story*) and M. The series will be a suspenseful, character-focused supernatural drama, using the iconic toy and its 20 possible answers as a central element, and exploring themes of psychology and culture.
Demeo is a virtual reality role-playing game created by Resolution Games, originally launched in 2021. It’s now available on PS5 and Steam, offering a captivating multiplayer experience that feels like a virtual tabletop game. Demeo uses cards to make gameplay flow smoothly. Now, Resolution Games is partnering with Wizards of the Coast to bring a new virtual RPG based on Dungeons & Dragons to life. Called Demeo x Dungeons & Dragons: Battlemarked, it will be released on November 20th. PC players can try a demo during the Steam Next Fest starting October 13th. I’ve played the demo’s two scenarios, and it’s the best virtual tabletop experience I’ve ever had – plus, the game acts as the Dungeon Master, letting everyone focus on playing a character.
As a huge TMNT fan, I’m really excited about the Page Punchers wave! Right now, we’ve got Donatello and Leonardo representing the Turtles, and Shredder and a Foot Soldier on the villain side, but trust me, that’s just the beginning. We can definitely expect more figures to join this collection soon. And it’s not just the figures themselves – they’re including awesome accessories, plus a special IDW comic with brand new artwork! It’s going to be an amazing addition to any collection.
I just watched the new trailer, and it’s intense! It’s a two-and-a-half-minute clip dominated by a crazy car chase that ends with the main character, Ben Richards, plummeting off a bridge. We also get a good look at all the professional killers who are after him and the other ‘runners’ in this bleak, futuristic world. It’s clearly based on the original book that inspired the 1987 film with Arnold Schwarzenegger.
