She revealed that producer Walter Hill has already written a detailed outline – about 50 pages – for Ripley’s story, and she found it compelling. While nothing is confirmed, Weaver has discussed the idea with Fox/Disney. She previously hadn’t considered revisiting the role, wanting Ripley to have peace, but Hill’s vision resonates with her. The outline depicts Ripley as someone ostracized by society for trying to help humanity, and Weaver is intrigued by the concept and considering collaborating with Hill to develop the full story.

The movie *KPop Demon Hunters* has become a massive hit on Netflix, exceeding 500 million hours watched and solidifying its place as one of the platform’s most popular titles. Netflix’s Tudum reports the film, featuring K-pop stars turned demon hunters Rumi, Mira, and Zoey, has been viewed for over 541 million hours by 325 million accounts. This impressive performance puts it well ahead of *Red Notice*, the 2021 action comedy starring Dwayne Johnson, Ryan Reynolds, and Gal Gadot, which has accumulated 454 million hours watched and 230 million views.

The movie *Superman* premiered on July 11, 2025, launching the revamped DC Universe (DCU) on the big screen. While many more films are planned, only a few have confirmed release dates, and DC Studios hasn’t officially announced them all. So, it’s looking pretty bad for *Project Ghost*, the MMO they’ve been working on. Apparently, they’re having a really hard time getting enough money, and honestly, it might mean the game never actually comes out. It’s a bummer, I was really excited about it!
