First appearing in serial form for Futabasha’s “Weekly Manga Action” back in 1970, it continued until 1976. Not content with their previous releases, Dark Horse is now introducing hardcover versions of the English editions.

The initial iteration of ‘Avengers Academy’ commenced in 2010 following the Skrull Invasion and the Initiative led by Norman Osborn. The Avengers established this institution to recruit young superheroes and instill in them the essence of heroism. However, there was a hidden agenda – these students were potential future villains, a fact unknown to any of them. This original team disbanded when Arcade kidnapped them for one of his lethal games, resulting in the death or severe injury of three members – Mettle, Juston, and Reptil. The novelty with the new squad is that these children were not merely spectators, but because Carol Danvers perceived they would play crucial roles in preserving the world’s future.

Over the years, Yoshi has embarked on multiple solo journeys, all in two dimensions. The exceptions are when players got to control Yoshi in a 3D environment, such as in games like Super Mario Sunshine and Super Mario Odyssey, where Yoshi was merely a rideable character. It’s high time Nintendo granted Yoshi his own fully-fledged 3D adventure. You might think about it this way: even Kirby has had a 3D adventure with Kirby and the Forgotten Land on the Nintendo Switch.

In the storyline of “Alien: Earth“, events are set in motion when the Weyland-Yutani spaceship, USCSS Maginot, collides catastrophically with a significant city on Earth. To investigate and recover any valuable tech from their competitor, Prodigy Corporation sends Wendy and her team to the crash site. Instead of corporate secrets, they discover something much more perilous: the Maginot was carrying diverse alien species, including the infamous facehuggers. This discovery leads to an outbreak of xenomorphs on Earth, which occurs exactly two years before the events portrayed in the initial “Alien” film. The precise timing of the series enables it to finally answer a long-standing question within the franchise that has remained a mystery for 46 years.

As a supporter, I’m thrilled to share that at the age of 98, I, Brooks, will be executive producing alongside my partner Kevin Salter. Joining us is an incredibly talented creative team, all alumni from the successful FX series “What We Do in the Shadows.” This show, which recently concluded a six-season run, follows four vampires living on Staten Island and was inspired by a previous film version that made waves as an indie darling when it debuted in 2014.

Taika Waititi, visionary director of both the “Shadows” movie and series, as well as the director of blockbuster “Thor: Ragnarok,” will direct the pilot for our new project, “Very Young Frankenstein.” Stefani Robinson, writer and executive producer of the “Shadows” series, will serve as writer and showrunner for our new production. Lastly, Michael Gruskoff, one of the producers on the original “What We Do in the Shadows” film, completes our trio of creators.
