This series will utilize the famous Yellow Brick Road as a symbolic representation of the hurdles and decisions faced by today’s young adults. In a statement, the showrunner, Matthews, expressed her lifelong affection for “The Wizard of Oz” books and the positive message she aims to convey through Dorothy. She stated, “I have cherished ‘The Wizard of Oz’ books since I was a child. The story serves as a reminder of the qualities we need during tough times, and Dorothy is a powerful symbol of resilience who demonstrates that with some compassion – along with determination – we can accomplish remarkable feats and uplift those around us. I am thrilled to share this empowering message with the world, especially now.
