Over the past five years, HBO Max has been a go-to platform for fans of Doctor Who, featuring seasons 1 through 13 starring Christopher Eccleston, David Tennant, Matt Smith, Peter Capaldi, and Jodie Whittaker as The Doctor. Additionally, it includes the spinoff series Torchwood. Regrettably, these shows will no longer be available on HBO Max starting July 31st, with no other U.S.-based streaming service currently carrying them.

Following the debut of “Daredevil: Born Again“, a fresh take on the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s Disney+ series lineup, the new show introduced several modifications, some more favorable than others. While “Daredevil: Born Again” preserved what made the original series stand out (principally the consistent performance of Charlie Cox), certain aspects fell short. Some characters underwent drastic transformations or were eliminated altogether, while others finally received the attention they had long deserved. With that in perspective, here are five characters that the Netflix show and “Born Again” mismanaged…and three they nailed perfectly.

Consequently, he decided it would be more effective to have a male character alongside her. It wasn’t until after Tatsu created Okarun that Dandadan finally debuted, emphasizing the persistence of the boy-centric focus in shonen manga. Despite evolving times, there are still few shonen manga with equally strong female characters or even a predominantly female cast compared to their male counterparts.

The comic book series titled “Avengers vs. X-Men” featured some of the top Marvel writers from the 2010s, such as Brian Michael Bendis, Jonathan Hickman, Ed Brubaker, Matt Fraction, Jason Aaron, John Romita Jr., Olivier Coipel, and Adam Kubert. This epic showdown pitted the Avengers against the X-Men over control of the Phoenix Force, which was published in 2012 to capitalize on the release of the movie “The Avengers” in theaters. While it may not have the best standing among fans of both teams, I’ve always found “Avengers vs. X-Men” to be a comic that has held up well over time and has aged better than most other Marvel comics.

For numerous gaming enthusiasts, the main complaint about RuneScape: Dragonwilds thus far is that there’s simply not enough content available. This is one of the disadvantages of Early Access since games often don’t come fully stocked with content at this stage. However, fans have also asked for minor improvements to the game’s user experience and balance, as well as some updates for Dragonwilds. The Update 0.8.2 for RuneScape: Dragonwilds addresses some of these requests, in addition to fixing various bugs.

The One Piece Cafe in Los Angeles, California is set to open its doors on August 2nd, in the Little Tokyo district of the city.
