Boyarsky shared that in creating the original “The Outer Worlds”, they controlled a smaller portion of the world. However, if given the chance to develop a sequel, he aimed for a larger and more immersive experience due to the limitations in size and resources during the initial game’s creation. The decisions made then were focused on making things more concise. According to him, “The Outer Worlds 2” fulfills the vision they had from the start of the first game.
