Adult Swim has been venturing more into showcasing non-English language series, even with subtitles, through their anime releases on Toonami. However, Women Wearing Shoulder Pads marks one of the first non-anime shows to take this step. This new endeavor promises an exciting introduction to a whole new realm of animation possibilities for Adult Swim fans. The latest animated series by Gonzalo Córdova and Cinema Fantasma’s team combines the best elements from classic telenovela hits with a perfect blend of quirkiness and creativity, making it a great fit for Adult Swim viewers.

From my perspective as an avid Pokémon fan, it seems the latest promotion was never meant to last long; the coveted Pokémon cards were intended for a mere three-day span. Yet, the demand was so immense that all the stock got depleted within roughly a day. The scenario echoes the chaos we witnessed in North America some years back, characterized by extensive lines, edible goods discarded due to card frenzy, and even sealed packs of cards being resold on platforms such as eBay.

This video isn’t claiming to be a masterpiece, as it mainly summarizes the game’s characters and main themes; however, watching the cast beautifully animated and enacting scenes is truly remarkable for fans of Trails series. For die-hard fans, it feels like a dream come true.

For the debut issue of Disney Villains: Maleficent, Ganucheau and Stultz will contribute variant covers. They’ll be accompanied by creators Ellery Santos and Robert Quinn in this project.
