One undeniable aspect of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) that stands out to many viewers is the Avengers series of films. The initial film, “The Avengers” from 2012, has been universally admired for Marvel Studios’ impressive team-up concept. While “Avengers: Infinity War” and its sequel, “Avengers: Endgame,” are often considered the best, they effectively bring together the entire MCU narrative in a grand two-part saga where Earth’s most powerful heroes face off against Thanos. It might be surprising to some that I find myself drawn to the least popular Avengers movie, despite its imperfections, as it played a significant role in shaping the success of the following films.

This resulted in “Deadpool Team-Up,” a series specifically designed for Deadpool to display his partnering skills humorously. Consequently, it gave birth to an array of imaginative and unpredictably humorous duos, appearing not only in this series but also in other Deadpool comics. Who could forget his meeting with Hellcow or the even funnier alliance with Spider-Man, one of the few Marvel characters who can match Deadpool both in combat and in-combat humor. Although these partnerships are undeniably funny and highlight Deadpool’s unique comedic flair, they don’t fully illustrate just how absurd his team-ups can become. Fortunately, Marvel took advantage of this opportunity to display the full extent of that absurdity through what could be termed as the “off-Broadway” comedy of the Great Lakes Avengers.

As a die-hard film fan, I can’t help but ponder why the excitement around movies like mine seems to have taken a dramatic dip recently. Could it be that 2018’s blockbusters, Black Panther and Avengers: Infinity War, set such an incredibly high bar for Captain Marvel? Or perhaps it’s due to folks not being acquainted with the captivating Disney+ series, Ms. Marvel and WandaVision yet.

There’s also a chance that the audience might be experiencing Marvel movie fatigue, which could explain why a new title like The Marvels feels like just another step in a weary journey. It’s a fascinating conundrum to explore, as a true cinema enthusiast!

Focusing primarily on our main character, Grace Ashcroft, is more than enough. She’s notable because she’s the offspring of Alyssa Ashcroft, who made appearances in “Resident Evil Outbreak” and was explicitly mentioned in “Resident Evil 7: Biohazard”. Preliminary images have confirmed that we will revisit the police station from “Resident Evil 2”, but it’s yet to be determined whether we can fully explore it or if it will merely appear in a cutscene. These two facts are merely the beginning of many exciting discoveries.

Over the past period, Paul has gained a reputation as Marvel’s most disliked character among fans, largely due to the constant focus on him in Spider-Man storylines. However, a significant shift occurred with the conclusion of Paul and MJ’s relationship in All-New Venom #9. This development could be seen as a major milestone for Spider-Man fans, but it has left many skeptical about Marvel’s handling of Spider-Man stories.

In an effort to breathe new life into Paul, there’s an intriguing possibility – engaging readers with compelling stories featuring Paul. It might seem challenging, but it’s not entirely unachievable. However, given Marvel’s current direction, it seems unlikely that they will pursue this path.

In the Marvel Universe, during Godzilla’s spree of destruction, we haven’t only seen new blends within the comic storylines, but also on their covers. Previous instances of these cover collaborations feature Godzilla wearing an Iron Man suit, receiving the Spirit of Vengeance, and numerous other examples. For the fifth issue of Godzilla vs. The Marvel Universe, a highly dangerous symbiote – similar to Venom – has bonded with the famous kaiju. This merger has resulted in Carnage encircling Godzilla, which could make for the most potent kaiju yet to be introduced in comics or otherwise. Witness this fusion’s devastating impact below.

Players accustomed to the usual Raid and Max battle routine in Pokemon Go may find themselves perplexed, as defeating Eternamax Eternatus requires a different approach. Instead of capturing the boss after winning, trainers are required to complete specific tasks during the battle. This deviation from the norm might come as a surprise, but it adds an exciting twist to the gameplay.
