Karl Urban Sci-Fi Action Thriller ‘Dredd’ Finds New Streaming Home

As a sci-fi fan, I always feel like some truly great films slip under the radar initially, and this one definitely did. Directed by Peter Travis and scripted by Alex Garland, it came out in 2012 and was actually based on a comic from 2000 AD. It didn’t do amazingly well in cinemas, but thankfully it found an audience on DVD and streaming. Over time, it’s built up this really dedicated cult following – and honestly, I’m right there with them hoping for a sequel, because it deserves one!

‘Cross’ Lands Season 3 Renewal From Prime Video

Prime Video has ordered a third season of the series , it was announced Wednesday. Aldis Hodge will reprise his role as Alex Cross, the character inspired by James Patterson’s popular novels. Peter Friedlander, head of television at Amazon MGM Studios, expressed excitement about the renewal.

You Might’ve Missed Sadie Sink in the Spider-Man: Brand New Day Trailer (& It Supports the Biggest Theory)

After the first trailer for Spider-Man: Brand New Day, all theories about who’s involved are still possible. We don’t get a clear look at Sadie Sink – we can’t even see her face. Sony seems to be intentionally fueling the speculation, but a character who appears to be her is in the trailer. We see someone wearing a green jacket with a yellow hoodie, which matches what Sink wore in photos from the Brand New Day set. This same person is also shown tied to a chair, possibly by Damage Control, and again looks like it could be Sink in a mystery role.
