Some of the saddest characters in Rick and Morty show how the show became more focused on serious storytelling after its second season – a change that had both good and bad results. While this allowed characters like Rick and Beth to develop more depth, it also highlighted some plot holes from earlier episodes. A good example is Morty’s son, who disappears for long stretches, which feels odd now that the show often emphasizes important moments in Morty’s personal life.

People continue to enjoy Assassin’s Creed games, even the weaker ones, often finding even the simplest parts of them comforting and familiar. There’s one game, however, that was heavily criticized when it first came out and ultimately led to a major overhaul of the entire series: Unity. While many consider Unity to be one of the worst Assassin’s Creed games, I actually think it’s a fantastic game – and the best one in the series, deserving of much more recognition.

Sometimes, when an anime tries something new, not living up to initial hopes can actually be a positive thing. But usually, it means the show is starting to decline, and it’s hard to recover. For anime like The Promised Neverland, it results in a disappointing ending. In other cases, viewers become frustrated and lower their expectations for the series.
