The highly anticipated third Avatar movie, titled Avatar: Fire and Ash, is scheduled to release in theaters on December 19th. To coincide with the film, McFarlane Toys is releasing detailed 7-inch figures of key characters like Jake Sully, Neytiri, Varang, and Quaritch. They’re also creating large Banshee figures – flying creatures from the movie – that can be used to display the characters, with a wingspan of around 30 inches.
These new figures will be released at the same time as McFarlane Toys’ Walmart Collector Con products, but they won’t be exclusive to Walmart. Walmart is including them in their Collector Con event, giving us a chance to see product pages and prices early – you can find those links below. It’s a little unusual, but Walmart’s listings say pre-orders start October 10th at 10am ET, while they’re expected to be available for purchase on Entertainment Earth and Amazon starting October 9th at 12pm ET.

The new action figures feature Jake Sully as he appears in the movie’s final battle, and Neytiri in her traditional warrior outfit. The figures of Varang and Quaritch also look impressive, but the Varang figure is particularly noteworthy. While the Na’vi characters are well-designed, the best part of this collection, in my opinion, are the two Banshee figures. I’ve always been most fascinated by the creatures in this sci-fi world, and that holds true here. Both Quaritch’s and Neytiri’s banshees are included, complete with the harnesses for their Na’vi riders.
Avatar: Fire and Ash Trailer
Following the events of 2022’s *Avatar: The Way of Water*, *Avatar: Fire and Ash* continues the story of Jake Sully and his family. The film will further explore the Na’vi culture on the planet Pandora, while also revisiting the ongoing conflict with Miles Quaritch and the looming threat of human invasion. Expect plenty of action and deeper insights into the Na’vi world as the Sully family faces new obstacles, and hopefully, some storylines will reach their conclusion. *Avatar: Fire and Ash* is scheduled for release on December 19, 2025.
