The upcoming Avatar: Fire and Ash movie will be the longest in the series when it hits theaters on December 19th.
The new movie is the third installment in James Cameron’s popular series, and it’s quite long – running for three hours and fifteen minutes.
This film is three minutes longer than the previous installment, The Way of Water from 2022, which already had a running time of three hours and twelve minutes.

It was a tough decision, but they felt it was necessary to really let the characters breathe and the story unfold properly.
He added: “Movie 3 will actually be a little bit longer than movie 2.”
Even though Avatar: The Way of Water was a hit with both critics and audiences, some viewers felt the movie was too long, lasting three hours.

The first trailer for the upcoming movie appeared in July, offering a sneak peek at large-scale battles and introducing Oona Chaplin as Varang, the powerful new clan leader.
