According to a recent report, an unexpected MCU character will be part of Avengers: Doomsday.
Marvel Studios is finishing up work on Avengers: Doomsday, directed by Joe and Anthony Russo. The film is expected to hit US theaters later this year, and a follow-up movie, Avengers: Secret Wars, is planned for release in 2027.
Who has reportedly joined the cast of Avengers: Doomsday?
Okay, so I just read this on The Beyond Reporter, and apparently Katherine Langford is going to be playing Morgan Stark in the next Avengers movie – they’re calling it ‘Doomsday’! It’s pretty exciting news, and I’m really curious to see how they incorporate her into the story.
Lexi Rabe portrays Morgan Stark, the daughter of Tony Stark (Iron Man) and Pepper Potts, in Avengers: Endgame. Emma Langford filmed a scene as a future version of Morgan, but it didn’t make the final cut of the movie.
Currently, the reports about Langford joining the cast of Avengers: Doomsday are just speculation. Marvel hasn’t confirmed her involvement, or even if her character, Morgan, will be in the film.
Katherine Langford is most famous for her role as Hannah Baker in the series 13 Reasons Why. She’s also appeared in several popular films, including Love, Simon (2018), Knives Out (2019), and Spontaneous (2020).
Avengers: Doomsday will feature a star-studded cast including Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Vanessa Kirby as Invisible Woman, and Anthony Mackie taking on the role of Captain America. Other confirmed actors are Sebastian Stan as Winter Soldier, Letitia Wright as Black Panther, Paul Rudd as Ant-Man, Wyatt Russell as U.S. Agent, Tenoch Huerta Mejía as Namor, Ebon Moss-Bachrach as The Thing, Simu Liu as Shang-Chi, Florence Pugh as Yelena Belova, Kelsey Grammer as Beast, Lewis Pullman as Sentry, Danny Ramirez as Falcon, Joseph Quinn as Human Torch, David Harbour as Red Guardian, Winston Duke as M’Baku, Hannah John-Kamen as Ghost, Tom Hiddleston as Loki, Patrick Stewart as Professor X, Ian McKellen as Magneto, Alan Cumming as Nightcrawler, Rebecca Romijn as Mystique, James Marsden as Cyclops, Channing Tatum as Gambit, Chris Evans reprising his role as Steve Rogers, Pedro Pascal as Mister Fantastic, and Robert Downey Jr. as Doctor Doom.
The next two major Avengers movies are scheduled for release on December 18, 2026 (Doomsday) and December 17, 2027 (Secret Wars).
