So, Disney just had a big presentation, and as a huge Marvel fan, I was glued to everything they showed! The coolest thing? They confirmed that Avengers: Doomsday – Phase 6’s big team-up movie – is going to have two different logos. They showed both of them off at the presentation, which tells me they’re planning a really interesting marketing push. We’re still a ways out – it’s hitting theaters December 18, 2026 – but it’s already getting me hyped!
At a recent event in Sorrento, Italy, Disney Italia revealed details about its future movies and shows. The biggest announcement was about the upcoming superhero film, Avengers: Doomsday, which Disney presented as the grand finale to its Multiverse Saga, sharing information about its large scale and the actors involved.

The presentation showed the different superhero teams that will be important in the new movie, like the Avengers (who are getting back together), the Fantastic Four, the X-Men now being part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and the Thunderbolts.

The presentation highlighted a past, incredibly popular five-and-a-half-hour live stream where the movie’s full cast was first revealed – memorably, by displaying names on individual chairs. This was mentioned to show just how massive the upcoming crossover event will be, as a team of heroes will face off against Doctor Doom, played by Robert Downey Jr.
Disney Confirms Doomsday Has Two Logos
A key discovery about how the movie was being promoted came when two different logos for Avengers: Doomsday were shown at the same time on different screens.
One screen showed the main logo, first revealed at the 2024 San Diego Comic-Con. It features the dark green color associated with Doctor Doom’s armor and powers.

The new logo was showcased, boasting a much slimmer and more modern design than the previous one. The green color is noticeably more vibrant, and the “Marvel Studios” lettering now appears in its signature, bright colors—a change from the original logo’s pale grey.

Showing both logos at the same time is a big deal for how Marvel will promote the film. It’s not just about updating the logo; it means Marvel plans to use both versions in all of its marketing materials going forward.
This indicates Marvel will probably use the logos in different ways for its marketing. They might use one logo for products and promotions, and a different one for things like trailers and posters.
The Marketing Campaign for Avengers: Doomsday Will Be Aggressive
In addition to the two initial teasers, Marvel Studios is starting a big marketing push for Avengers: Doomsday. The goal is to build huge anticipation worldwide and reassure fans about the future of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, all starting a year before the movie comes out next December.
The first trailer for the upcoming movie Doomsday is expected to be released this month. Disney plans to show it alongside another big film to reach a large audience during the holidays. Specifically, the trailer will be shown before James Cameron’s Avatar: Fire and Ash, which comes out on December 19, 2025. This strategy aims to build excitement for Doomsday, a key film in Phase 6 of the movie series.
This means we’ll see the first footage from the final movie in Phase 6 before the trailer for the next announced Marvel Cinematic Universe film, Spider-Man: Brand New Day (coming July 31, 2026), is released. This is a first for Marvel Studios.
