Okay, so the Russo brothers are clarifying what they meant by calling those Avengers: Doomsday sneak peeks “stories.” Remember back in January 2026, after that fourth teaser dropped – the one focusing on Shuri, M’Baku, Namor, and The Thing? Well, the Russos put out a statement that really got fans talking. They posted on Instagram saying what we’d been watching for the past four weeks weren’t just teasers or trailers, but actual stories and clues! They told us to pay close attention, and used the hashtag #DoomsdayHasBegun. It definitely made me think there’s a lot more to those clips than meets the eye!
In an interview with Empire Magazine, reported by IGN, Joe Russo explained his comments about the trailers being connected to the film’s overall story. He stated that each trailer reveals important plot details and that, in his view, the events hinted at in the trailers have already begun for the audience. While some believed these scenes were created solely for promotional purposes, Russo suggests they’re also part of the actual movie, giving each character a chance to shine. He explained that the film is complex and they wanted to showcase key moments and characters individually.
This is a developing story.
