Azure Kelp is one of the many resources you can find in Hytale, as long as you know its location.
Kelp is a helpful ingredient in many recipes, especially for making Teleporters. As you’d expect, you can usually find it growing underwater, but where’s the best place to look, and what should you be aware of while gathering it?
Well, read on! Our quick guide will answer all of your questions about finding Azure Kelp.
Where to Find Azure Kelp

As a fan, I’ve learned that you’ll mostly find Azure Kelp hanging out in those beautiful azure forest biomes. They look just like the picture above! Honestly, the easiest way to find them is to scan your map for those really deep blue forests – that’s where they love to grow.

Okay, so when you’re exploring, keep an eye out for ponds and lakes tucked away in those blue forests. You’ll spot these plants growing underwater, and all you have to do is pick them up – that’s how you get Azure Kelp! It’s super easy.
Azure forest areas usually have several ponds or lakes to explore. Each one might have multiple Azure Kelp plants, so it’s worth checking them all if you need a large amount of kelp.
You can also chop down the special blue trees in this area! These trees are the only way to get Azure Logs, which you’ll need to craft Teleporters – just like Azure Kelp.

It’s important to remember that Azure Kelp isn’t found only in the azure forests. Those forests are just the most common place to find it.
You can usually find Azure Kelp by diving in various underwater areas, but it’s not super common. Just be aware that it’s a bit of a rare find!
So, that covers everything you need to know about finding Azure Kelp in Hytale! Basically, keep an eye out underwater, particularly in the beautiful blue forests.
