Bachelorette Contestant Says Taylor Frankie Paul “Exploded” at Suitors

Details about Taylor Frankie Paul‘s now-canceled Bachelorette season are coming to light.

When ABC cancelled the 22nd season of the dating show just before it was supposed to air, due to a 2023 video showing Taylor and her former partner, Dakota Mortensen, in a fight, one of the show’s contestants shared his experience. He claimed there was significant tension and conflict among the cast members during filming.

She didn’t get violent, but she had a strong emotional outburst towards a few of us while we were working on the show,” he told TopMob News. “I initially thought she was just playing into the show’s dramatic themes.

The contestant claimed that Taylor wanted her potential partners to play a game called “Truth Box.” This game was originally featured on the Hulu series Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, where Taylor’s co-star, Jessi Ngatikaura Draper, introduced it. In “Truth Box,” cast members anonymously submitted questions to address issues and air their complaints.

We all had issues with each other, every single one of us,” he said. “None of us wanted to do the Truth Box. We decided we’d just be honest and tell each other what we thought directly, face-to-face, instead of hiding behind it.

The contestant admitted he disagreed with some of the other housemates about how they dealt with the rising tension, but he also noted that he valued how honest everyone was with each other about their feelings.

He added, “Everybody were great dudes.”

That is why he’s now “so f–king pissed” about the season being canceled.

He explained that everyone involved made significant sacrifices and approached the situation with good intentions. Looking back, though, he feels her behavior and how she treated them all was ultimately unproductive and a misuse of emotional energy.

The contestant admitted he was upset watching the video of Taylor and Dakota’s fight last year, but he wishes Taylor receives the support she needs.

As he put it, “It’s pretty heavy for all of us.”

TopMob contacted ABC for a statement but has not received a response. Previously, a Disney Entertainment spokesperson explained the cancellation to TopMob, stating, “Because of a newly released video, we’ve decided not to proceed with the new season of The Bachelorette right now. Our priority is supporting the family involved.”

After the show was canceled, a representative for the reality star told TopMob News on March 19th that she appreciates ABC’s understanding as she focuses on keeping her family safe.

According to her spokesperson, Taylor has been quiet because she’s afraid of more harm, getting back at her, and public embarrassment. She’s now looking at all her choices, getting help, and getting ready to tell her side of the story.

As a lifestyle expert, I’m following the news about the popular show Mormon Wives, and it’s been a tough week. Just days before the network pulled the show, sources confirmed filming had stopped due to another incident – this time involving Taylor and Dakota, who are parents to a young son. It appears the police in Utah are now investigating, and reports indicate both Taylor and Dakota have accused each other of assault. It’s a really difficult situation, and we’re sending strength to everyone involved.

For his part, Dakota—who has recently filed a restraining order against Taylor—denied the allegations against him, calling them “baseless claims.”

He stated in a March 19th interview with TopMob News that the video is very disturbing. He said his priority is the well-being of their son and he hopes Taylor shares that focus.
