Breaking up in public hasn’t been a rosy experience for Jason Tartick.
Previously featured on “The Bachelorette,” he addressed the reasons behind his recent breakup with ex-partner Kat Stickler, in an attempt to debunk speculations surrounding their split’s origin.
He stated during his Trading Secrets podcast on January 27th that it’s none of anyone’s concern what transpired. However, he did add that he’s encountered all sorts of speculations – not a single one is true.
Previously betrothed to another contestant from the Bachelor Nation, Kaitlyn Bristowe, the celebrity emphasized that their separation in 2023 wasn’t marked by hostility.
Jason, aged 35, firmly stated, “Under any circumstances, I could never betray her; she has my utmost respect and affection.
Despite their amicable split in October, the ex-couple didn’t find it a breeze by any means.
Jason explained, “That month following the breakup and afterwards was likely the most challenging of my life. It was tough because it happened so suddenly and I wasn’t prepared for it.
Besides this, the author of “Talk Money to Me” confessed that the widespread conjecture about the reasons for their separation significantly impacted him emotionally.
He continued, expressing his frustration, ‘I’ve been pacing around at home, tearing my hair out.’ He added, ‘Can you believe it? What a grueling month! Absolutely brutal and incredibly difficult.’
It turned out beneficial for Jason as he managed to gain some insight from the experience, which was partly due to his past breakup with Kaitlyn at age 39.
One unfortunate aspect I’ve noticed about public breakups is that people tend to be curious about the reasons behind them and often blame one party or the other. However, this is just how things are; relationships end, and that’s why we date.
Jason made public his separation from Kat, who is the mother of their 5-year-old daughter, Mary-Katherine (often referred to as MK), with former husband Mike Stickler, in October. This announcement came after a few months of dating. In an Instagram Stories post, he expressed his eternal gratitude towards her and undeniably sweet MK.
As for the TikToker, she similarly dismissed any notion that there was drama between the two.
She expressed in an Instagram Stories video that things didn’t turn out as planned, “It simply didn’t pan out.” She further added, “Love isn’t something that gets squandered. It can sometimes seem like when a relationship concludes that the love was lost, but love is never wasted.

After making an appearance on the inaugural season of “The Golden Bachelor” and leaving Gerry Turner’s season prematurely, Joan Vassos went on to become the leading lady in the debut season of “The Golden Bachelorette”. It was during this stint that she encountered and got engaged to contestant Chock Chapple.
In the November 2024 finale of “The Golden Bachelorette”, Joan shared her sentiments, stating, “Life may have thrown challenges at us, but there’s always hope, even at our age.” She continued with a heartfelt proposal from Chock in Bora Bora: “I’ve waited for this special moment in this breathtaking location to tell you that I love you. I want to spend the rest of my life with you. I want to start and end each day with you, here by my side.

In the Season 21 finale of “The Bachelorette”, it seemed like former “Bachelor” contestant Jenn Tran was on the verge of finding her perfect match with her final choice, Devin Strader. However, in a revelation made on “After the Final Rose” in September, Jenn, who is 26 years old, disclosed that Devin, aged 28, turned cold towards her as soon as the recording ended.
During the September 3rd episode, Jenn expressed to host Jesse Palmer that he was once making grand declarations of affection but abruptly changed the next day and acted as though he never felt any love. She added that all the promises he had made about his love for her, and all the affection he claimed to have for her, seemed to disappear without a trace.
The events escalated as Devin posted a 13-minute video on Instagram detailing his perspective of the situation and offering an explanation for ending their relationship during a 15-minute conversation over the phone. Besides acknowledging responsibility, he also provided reasons behind the breakup.
Instead of saying Jenn accused him of ending their relationship over the phone in August, it could be rephrased as “Jenn claimed that he informed her about the breakup during a call in August, but he asserted that Jenn asked why something was wrong and wanted to know in person.
He admitted he was unsure about what other options he had, implying that he had delayed telling her face-to-face. In essence, she seemed to have compelled him to act.
After that, Jenn walked towards the stage of Dancing With the Stars, and there’s speculation that she might have also found a place in Sasha Farber’s heart. They’ve kept the rumors of romance burning bright ever since their elimination on October 29th.

In November 2022, Greg Grippo, who was one of Katie Thurston’s suitors on The Bachelorette the previous year, appeared alongside Victoria Fuller in the season eight finale of Bachelor in Paradise. During their time there, they disclosed that they were in a relationship. However, in April 2024, he publicly announced that their relationship had ended.
Prior to Victoria Fuller and Greg Grippo making their relationship official during the finale of Bachelor in Paradise’s 8th season, Victoria Fuller and Johnny DePhillipo had called off their engagement.
Status: Divorced
Gerry Turner and Theresa Nist became engaged in November 2023, during the final episode of the first season of “Golden Bachelor”, and they officially married in a televised wedding ceremony in January 2024.
However, three months after their nuptials, the couple announced that they were breaking up.
During their appearance on Good Morning America with Theresa on April 2024, Gerry stated, “Theresa and I have had many deep conversations about our relationship and our living arrangements, among other things. After careful consideration, we both agree that it seems best for us to end our marriage.
They reached a divorce settlement in June 2024, according to court records reviewed by TopMob News.

After considering 32 potential partners, tennis professional Joey Graziadei finally found his ideal partner in project manager Kelsey Anderson. “I can’t wait any longer to express my love for you,” Joey said to his final choice during the season finale on March 2024. “There’s something about you that captivates me. Your energy is contagious, and it always puts a smile on my face. It’s a feeling I’ve never experienced before.”
Envisioning their lifelong journey with Kelsey, he added, “For a while, I knew I wanted to live a beautiful life, but I had no idea just how stunning that life could be until I met you.
In the ninth season of “Bachelor in Paradise”, John Henry Spurlock and Kat Izzo didn’t hit it off until halfway through the show. Despite this late start, they were ready to take a chance on each other. As John presented an Ascher cut Neil Lane diamond, he expressed his feelings, saying, “I’m going to try something new today. My heart tells me that you are fantastic, you are everything I’ve been searching for.”
However, just after the season finale, the couple announced they had parted ways. In a joint Instagram post, they explained, “Although our lives are heading in different directions due to our professional aspirations not coinciding, we appreciate the love and encouragement we’ve received from our families, friends, and Bachelor Nation.
In the final episode, despite her apprehensions about a proposal from Aaron Bryant, Eliza Isichei (one of Clayton Echard’s former partners) graciously agreed to his oceanfront proposal. Delighted by Aaron’s thoughtful gesture of seeking approval from her mother, she expressed, “I knew I wouldn’t be able to predict what words would come out of my mouth.”
The conclusion of the episode hinted at some difficulties Eliza and her partner experienced after their trip to Mexico. Just a few days later, they announced their decision to end their engagement. On Instagram, December 2023, Charity’s ex and marketing manager posted, “Navigating these complex feelings as I watch everything unfold. We’re handling our amicable separation with nothing but optimism and respect for each other.

Despite postpartum nurse Kylee Russell expressing disappointment over boyfriend Aven Jones’ reluctance to propose – something he reportedly planned while courting Bachelorette Rachel Recchia – she eventually agreed to his proposal on Paradise, stating “let’s get out of here and make it work.”
This decision meant her chosen engagement dress remained unopened, with Kylee explaining, “I simply had to do what felt right. Love involves taking risks.”
Two days following the December 2023 finale airing, she disclosed on her Instagram Stories that their relationship had come to an end due to numerous instances of infidelity. Later, Aven expressed remorse and apologized to Kylee via Instagram, admitting, “I have made significant errors in our relationship and caused pain to someone I held dear.
As a completely smitten fan, I can’t help but share my excitement: “I’m overjoyed about how this season unfolded!” Charity Lawson playfully hinted to TopMob News, an understatement for her breathtaking August 2023 finale. Dotun Olubeko, the renowned integrative medicine specialist, knelt down and declared their love as “flawless,” asking the child and family therapist, “Would you grant me the privilege of transforming this fairytale into a reality?”
While their future happily ever after is still on the horizon—they’ve mentioned potential wedding years in 2025 or 2026—the Georgia native has more to look forward to before the big day. “Alright, darling,” Dotun told Charity on ‘The Bachelorette: After the Final Rose’. “I know you love to have fun, dance, and express yourself. We’ve discussed this opportunity, and I am thrilled beyond words to tell you that YOU are going to be a part of ‘Dancing With the Stars’! Darling, let’s dance!

Zach will have a blissful conclusion to his romantic journey. Although he experienced a few bumps along the Fantasy Suite path, Zach Shallcross concluded season 27 in March 2023 on one knee. “I am deeply in love with you,” he confessed to travel nurse Kaity Biggar. “You are my universe. The affection I hold for you is beyond what I ever thought possible.”
In July 2023, the Texan pair advanced further in their relationship, with Kaity posting on Instagram, “Now officially living together.” They’re now arranging their October 2025 nuptials.
The status of Danielle Maltby and Michael Allio, who appeared on Bachelor Nation as potential couple goals following their romance after BIP season 7, has changed. Despite moving from Nashville to Ohio for their relationship, they announced a split in September 2023. During an episode of Jason Tartick’s podcast “Trading Secrets,” Allio discussed the breakup, stating that while both had invested much into their relationship, it was heartbreaking when it didn’t work out. He explained that when love is present but compatibility isn’t, one grieves not only for the lost partner and friend, but also for the future they once imagined together.
Brandon Jones declared his everlasting love for Serene Russell during their appearance on season seven of “Paradise”. However, sadly, their relationship didn’t last long after their engagement. Approximately five months following the airing of their proposal, they announced their separation in a joint Instagram statement written in May 2023. They acknowledged the immense difficulty of maintaining their private relationship amidst public scrutiny and expressed their pain, asking for understanding and no negativity in return.
As a lifestyle advisor, I’d rephrase that statement in a first-person perspective as follows:
“In my personal journey, the engagement between Rachel and general contractor Tino Franco took an unexpected turn when he was involved with another woman during our 2022 season. Reflecting on this incident, I unequivocally acknowledge that my actions were not acceptable. It was wrong, unfair to Rachel, and something I deeply regret. The guilt of my past actions still lingers, and I am filled with shame. If given the chance, I would undoubtedly do things differently a million times over.
Susie Evans initially turned down Clayton Echard during the 2022 finale of Bachelor. However, they reconnected off-camera, only to separate again six months later. Despite this, Susie, who is a videographer based in L.A., maintains that their split was necessary. In a November 2022 blog post titled “Susie Was Like,” she explained that the people around her noticed her energy dimming and that she wasn’t flourishing. She admitted they had many happy moments, but deep down, she was grappling with issues and felt out of alignment with her best self.
After dating Justin Glaze from Bachelor Nation, Susie later confirmed that they had parted ways as well, announcing their split in August 2024.
The current status for Michelle, a Minnesota elementary school teacher, is that she has moved on. Previously, Michelle had accepted a Neil Lane sparkler from Texas-based sales executive Nayte Olukoya, along with a $200,000 check from producers to contribute toward their future home. However, the couple didn’t have a strong enough connection, as they announced their breakup six months after their season finale aired in December 2021.
In an interview on The Viall Files, Nayte admitted there were many ups and downs, numerous arguments, and fights between them, and that ultimately, they didn’t see eye-to-eye. He also acknowledged that not having the final split conversation in person was “a dick move.”
Later on, Michelle began dating Jack Leius in 2023, and the couple announced their engagement the following year.
The duo from BIP season seven, Maurissa Gunn and Riley Christian, successfully shared their vision of blissful Sunday mornings with viewers. However, they were only able to spend a few dozen weekends together before deciding to part ways. In a joint statement issued in January 2022, their patient coordinator Maurissa (who was involved with Peter Weber) and attorney Riley (one of Tayshia Adams’ suitors) revealed their decision. “We never thought this would happen,” they stated, “but we have reached a point where we both need to focus on ourselves.
Status: Split
On the sixth season of ‘Bachelor in Paradise’, the first same-sex couple became engaged, but they later parted ways in October 2019, which they announced on Halloween.
As a lifestyle advisor, I’d put it this way: “In every aspect of our bond, love and nurture have been our guiding principles. Our focus has always been on what serves us best. With hearts heavy yet overflowing with love for each other, we’ve come to the difficult decision that stepping away from our relationship is what will serve us better. We yearn for what truly benefits us in the long term, and at this moment, that means growing independently.
Status: Engaged
Though Noah Erb and Abigail Heringer split up during the seventh season of The Bachelorette, they found that they could see an eternity in each other’s eyes. Initially settling in San Diego, the travel nurse (who vied for Tayshia’s affection) and the financial manager (who received Matt James’ first impression rose) have now bought a home in his hometown of Tulsa.
“Getting ready to enter our Chip and Joanna Gaines era because my girl just bought her very first house!!!” Abigail posted on Instagram in July 2023. “Excited to start our next chapter and for all the memories we’ll create here!!” Their upcoming plans include a few wedding details. Before their move, Noah popped the question at a San Diego beachfront home in August 2023.
In preparation for their upcoming wedding in September 2023, Serena Pitt and Joe Amabile decided to have an informal ceremony at City Hall, which is close to their New York City residence. This quickie wedding took place about a year after they both left Bachelor in Paradise as engaged couples. Serena, who co-hosts the Bachelor Happy Hour podcast with her husband, shared a video from the October 2022 ceremony and captioned it “JUST MARRIED!!”. They plan to have another wedding in September, but who wouldn’t want to get married twice?
Status: Married
“Kenny Braasch, a renowned boy band manager, expressed his profound affection for his partner Mari Pepin by saying, ‘I am so deeply in love with you,’ as he placed a stunning Neil Lane diamond ring on her finger during the 2021 finale of Paradise. ‘I genuinely can’t imagine my life without you,’ he continued. With this declaration, the Maryland beauty queen, who initially captivated Bachelor Matt, moved to Kenny’s hometown of Chicago and began planning their lifelong journey together. Before their oceanfront wedding in Puerto Rico in November 2023, they symbolized their eternal love by getting matching tattoos during a trip to the Bahamas in May 2023.
Status: Married
Becca, who was once the Bachelorette, and Thomas Jacobs, one of Katie Thurston’s suitors, started dating during season seven of “Bachelor in Paradise” in 2021. They split up on the show, but rekindled their relationship after filming ended. In May 2022, they announced their engagement, with Becca taking the initiative to propose. As she told TopMob News, she hopes her actions inspire others to challenge traditional norms. Thomas reciprocated this gesture in October of the same year. In September 2023, they welcomed their first child, a son named Benson. Becca expressed on Instagram that no words can express the love and wonder they have for this little boy. Just weeks after bringing Benson home, they had a sudden wedding on October 13, 2023.
Status: Split
In the season finale of “The Bachelorette” in 2021, Katie got engaged to Blake Moynes. Their romantic moment occurred on an overnight date, featuring activities like paintball, a cowboy bath, and a chat beneath the night sky, where they expressed their deep feelings for each other.
Kneeling down, Blake said to Katie, “You are worthy of everything the world has to offer, and I’m thrilled to stand by your side and be there for you each day from now on.
Three months following the broadcast of their proposal, the pair revealed their separation. In a harmonious declaration, they expressed, “We are deeply thankful for the precious moments we spent together and the incredible journey that unfolded this past year. However, after much reflection, we have determined that we are not well-suited as long-term partners. It is with kindness in our hearts that we choose to progress separately.”
Now, she is set to marry comedian Jeff Arcuri.
Current Status: Separated
In the time that has passed since Matt and graphic designer Rachael Kirkconnell parted ways during his 2021 season (following a brief separation and subsequent reconciliation), they have faced numerous breakup speculations.
“I believe everyone should take a break from social media,” Matt shared exclusively with TopMob News at a July 18 Baskin-Robbins event. “Our lives are so heavily influenced by our phones that when anyone takes a break from being online 24/7, people think it’s the end of the world.”
However, Matt emphasized that marriage remains their ultimate goal.
“I believe the positive aspect of our relationship is we move at our own pace,” the author of First Impressions: Off Screen Conversations With a Bachelor on Race, Family, and Forgiveness told TopMob News in May 2022. “And you’ve observed with other couples—they rush into engagements and aren’t together anymore. So, I believe what we have is a successful formula, and we’ll get there.”
Yet, less than three years later, Matt announced their separation on Instagram on January 16, 2025. He wrote: “Father God, give Rachael and I the strength to mend our broken hearts. Give us a sense of peace about this decision to end our relationship that transcends worldly understanding. Shower our friends and family with kindness and love to comfort us. And remind us that our Joy comes from you, Lord.”
Status: Split
As I stepped into the shoes of Clare Crawley for her 2020 season of The Bachelorette, I found myself connecting deeply with Zac Clark. Although we ended our journey on her season as an engaged couple, I must admit that our relationship had its fair share of highs and lows – lessons learned along the way.
Being in a fresh relationship and then taking off for a few weeks can be tricky, right?” she expressed sincerely on The Ben and Ashley I. Almost Famous podcast in August 2021.
Later on, she expressed, “It seemed as though we needed to recall our reasons for being together. I believe this is entirely typical.” However, in November 2021, TopMob News reported that they had parted ways.
Status: Split
During season 16 of “The Bachelorette,” Clare became deeply smitten with Dale Moss. So much so that they got engaged by the fourth episode. However, their fairy tale romance didn’t last long. A few weeks after Clare was replaced by Tayshia, Dale announced on social media that his love story with the hairdresser had ended.
In the whirlwind of life and love, just over a month ago, whispers of reconciliation swirled when I found myself side by side with someone special. Fast-forward to July 2021, after numerous heartfelt reunions, and Clare and Dale were once again an item—diamond sparkling on her finger. However, come September, we parted ways yet again. Now, I’m delighted to say that I have found lasting love with Ryan Dawkins, and we are eagerly anticipating the arrival of our first child together.
Status: Split
Following a short-lived courtship with Hannah Ann Sluss and a separation from Madison Prewett, fans had high hopes that things would work out for Peter the third time around. Regrettably, his connection with The Bachelor season 24’s Kelley Flanagan didn’t last, as Peter announced on New Year’s Eve 2020 that their nine-month relationship had come to an end.
Pete shared on Instagram that despite our partnership being brimming with numerous cherished moments, unfortunately, it didn’t succeed in the long run. However, Kelley remains someone whom I will forever hold a unique affection towards.
In 2022, they made another attempt at flying again, but later in May, they disclosed that their relationship had come to an end.
Status: Split
After the intense ending in 2020, the pair shared on Instagram they were parting ways in their relationship. Peter posted, “Madi and I have decided, after much discussion, not to move forward with our romance any longer. This wasn’t an easy choice for either of us, but after open conversations, we agreed that this is the best path for both of us. The love and regard I hold for Madi will persist.
In her statement, Madi expressed that she would continue to cherish and honor him. She is firmly believing that our fates were destined to intersect, and as a result, we have both grown for the better due to this encounter.
Status: Split
During season 24 of The Bachelor, Peter and Hannah Ann had a short engagement. Unfortunately, by the second part of the finale, it became clear that they were facing difficulties just one month into their exclusive relationship. More specifically, Hannah Ann was taken aback when she discovered Peter still harbored feelings for Madison.
She stated, “All along, I merely desired someone to offer their complete affection as I was offering mine. And you ended our first engagement,” she said, returning the ring. “You took that from me. Because I relied on you, and that is what I’ve always been asked to do – ‘Be patient with me. Have faith in me.’
Relationship Status: Married
After their days of #vanlife, they’ve traveled quite a distance. Although Dean Unglert (one of Bachelorette Rachel Lindsay’s finalists) and Caelynn Miller-Keyes, who had a romantic connection with Colton Underwood during season six of Paradise in 2019, parted ways then, they have been inseparable since.
In 2022, they became engaged and exchanged vows at a camp-themed wedding in the Colorado mountains on September 23. Caelynn shared her excitement with TopMob News before the ceremony, expressing, “I just love him so much! I’m so thrilled to be marrying someone who is such a wonderful individual, who makes me laugh every day, even when I’m upset. I believe our life together will be really enjoyable.
