Back to the Future 40th Anniversary 4K Blu-ray Steelbooks Launch, Including a Flux Capacitor Box Set

One of the most iconic trilogies from the 80s is making a return with state-of-the-art 4K UHD Steelbook editions, truly transporting these films into modern times. We’re referring to the legendary Back to the Future series, which is being reissued in a fresh line of Steelbooks, along with a complete trilogy collector’s set containing all three movies: Back to the Future, Back to the Future II, and Back to the Future III. This set includes numerous collectibles and new bonus features. It’s all part of the celebrations for the 40th anniversary of the first Back to the Future film, which debuted in 1985.

LEGO Back to the Future Time Machine Set Is On Sale

In the year 2022, LEGO introduced an intricate Creator Expert set modeled after the legendary DeLorean DMC-12 time machine from The Back to the Future series. Retailing at $199.99 by LEGO, you can find this set here at Walmart for a more affordable price of $169. The 10300 Back to the Future Time Machine set consists of 1,872 pieces and comes with mini-figures of Doc Brown and Marty McFly.

The set boasts a range of impressive features such as a functioning Flux Capacitor, opening gull-wing doors, foldable flight mode tires, dashboard dates printed on, an opening hood, exchangeable license plates reading OUTATIME, and a hoverboard accessory. However, that’s not all – this Back to the Future DeLorean LEGO set can be assembled in 3 distinct configurations based on the film!

  • The Original Time Machine: Add the lightning rod and plutonium chamber from the 1985 film.
