Back To The Future Shoes Debut From Crocs and Hey Dude For The 40th Anniversary

The movie *Back to the Future* first came out in July 1985, but fans celebrate *Back to the Future* Day on October 21st. This date is significant because it’s when Marty McFly and Doc Brown travel to the future – from 1985 to 2015 – in the movie to protect Marty’s kids. This year is particularly special because it’s the 40th anniversary of the film series! To mark the occasion, Universal Pictures is planning special events and releasing new merchandise, including unique Crocs and Hey Dude shoes.

Crocs Back to the Future Clogs

These Crocs, designed like the DeLorean time machine from *Back to the Future*, are covered in lightning and flame designs – perfect for fans of bold style. But the real details are in the backstraps, which feature the Time Circuit and Flux Capacitor. They even have ’88 mph’ on the heel and come with collectible Jibbitz charms shaped like iconic items from the movie, like the hoverboard, Marty McFly’s vest, the ‘OUTATIME’ license plate, the sports almanac, and the time machine itself.

The Back to the Future Crocs, a special edition Classic Clog, will be available for purchase on October 21st around 11am Eastern Time. They’ll be sold on the Crocs website for $79.99 and come in adult sizes for both men and women. But these clogs aren’t the only Back to the Future shoes being released to celebrate the film’s 40th anniversary.
