Enthusiasts of Dreaming Whilst Black have been eagerly anticipating season 2 since its debut in 2023, showing great patience.

Additionally, it provided a glimpse into Kwabena’s personal life, his family, love stories, and other facets.

In simpler terms, the new season of Dreaming Whilst Black introduces Kwabena as he embarks on his professional journey during a time characterized by diversity, equality, and inclusion. This period emphasizes amplifying underrepresented voices, as stated in the official BBC description.

Although the entertainment industry may appear forward-thinking from an outsider’s perspective, it doesn’t feel that way to Kwabs. Eager to collaborate on a project reflecting his personal beliefs, he successfully lands a director role for the highly-anticipated TV series “Sin and Subterfuge.” This groundbreaking period drama, masterminded by the acclaimed black producer Bridgette Julienne, pushes genre boundaries.

Initially, the show seemed to promote a forward-thinking message. However, as the series unfolded, it transitioned into a more questionable production, leaving him to ponder if perhaps he was destined to fall short right from the beginning.
