Bandai Namco has sold Limbic Entertainment, the studio behind the game Park Beyond, to a private investor focused on video games. Bandai Namco originally bought Limbic in 2022.
As a big Bandai Namco fan, I’ve been following the news about their recent changes, and it sounds like they’re really streamlining things. Basically, they’re selling off some parts of the business so they can really focus on making the games and content they’re best known for – the stuff we all love!
I just heard some news about Limbic Entertainment, the studio behind games like Tropico! Bandai Namco announced they’re letting Limbic continue doing what they do best – making those awesome city-building and management sims we all love. The good news is, everything will stay the same with the team and the company’s name, so we can expect more of the same great stuff from them in the future!
Bandai Namco Entertainment Europe CEO Arnaud Muller expressed pride in the accomplishments of their teams and extended best wishes to Limbic as they move forward as an independent studio.
