The popular franchise has often been celebrated with large, highly detailed model kits, especially Master Grade versions of its famous robots. Now, a new kit based on the latest anime series is joining the lineup – and it’s a truly massive transforming model.
The latest Robot Spirits model kit, the Kikeroga, continues the line’s trend of unique designs. This version is particularly impressive, boasting a large size and the ability to transform. It’s one of several exciting new releases, showing that Bandai still has plenty of plans for the GQuuuuuuX series.
Bandai’s Robot Spirits Line Mobilizes One of the Biggest Gundam Figures Ever
The Robot Spirits Kikeroga figure from Bandai is a unique addition to the line, piloted by Sharia Bull. What sets it apart is that it transforms into two distinctly different forms, unlike typical Gunpla models.
This mobile suit is built with long, slender limbs that can stretch out using attached cables. When extended, the Kikeroga ship section acts like a “tail” for the mecha, functioning similarly to a jetpack. The head can even be removed, referencing designs from previous models. This unique design compensates for the lack of standard long-range weapons like blasters or swords. As a bonus, customers who order now will receive a special Zaku Bazooka, intended for use with a separate Red Gundam figure.
What’s most striking is its nearly one-foot height, making it a truly impressive collectible. Like in the anime, it fully transforms into ship mode, with the ship components enveloping the mobile suit. Even in ship mode, the included cables can still be used, adding to the toy’s versatility and play options.
The toy will cost approximately $229 USD and is scheduled to be released in late April or early May 2026. This release follows about a year after the Gundam GQuuuuuuX anime aired, and Bandai is capitalizing on the anime’s popular designs. It was recently showcased at the Tamashii Nation 2025 event, along with other new figures.
