Barbara Eden Speaks Out After Patrick Muldoon’s Sudden Death

Barbara Eden is dreaming of her time spent with Patrick Muldoon.

After the passing of the Days of Our Lives actor at age 57 due to a heart attack, the I Dream of Jeannie star honored her old coworker.

94-year-old Barbara shared on Instagram on April 20th that she was deeply saddened by the unexpected death of Patrick Muldoon, her co-star in the 2019 film ‘My Adventures with Santa.’ She posted a photo of them together with fellow actors Denise Richards and Erick Devine, describing Patrick as a kind and friendly person.

She shared that she really enjoyed the downtime on set and getting to know her colleagues. He made the whole experience even more enjoyable. She also expressed her sadness about Patrick’s passing, noting that it was particularly heartbreaking because it was so sudden and unexpected.

The actress from Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea also shared, “I’m thinking of his family and friends and sending my deepest sympathies.”

I’m absolutely devastated. Patrick passed away on April 19th, just 57 years old! His sister, Shana Muldoon-Zappa, told TMZ… it’s just awful. Apparently, his partner, Miriam Rothbart, found him at his home. I can’t even process this. He was too young!

After learning about his death, Patrick’s colleagues, like his Days of Our Lives co-star Alison Sweeney, shared their fondest memories of him.

Alison shared the sad news on X on April 20th, describing Pat as a uniquely gifted, kind, and generous person.

She fondly remembered working with him when she joined Days. He immediately put her at ease and always brought a special warmth and funny energy to the workplace. He was a remarkably talented person and will be deeply missed.

Denise’s daughter, Lola Sheen, shared how the Melrose Place actor – who stayed friends with Denise after they dated in the 1990s – influenced her life.

She shared an old photo of Patrick and Denise on Instagram on April 20th, writing that she always believed he’d be a constant in their lives. She reminisced about how Patrick defined her childhood and expressed how strange it would feel to move forward without him.

She said he was like family, and things wouldn’t be the same without him, but that was simply a testament to how much he meant to them.
