Batman: Berserk Announced

Over the years, Batman has teamed up with many characters outside of the DC universe, including heroes like Captain America, Hellboy, and even the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. However, he hasn’t often crossed over with anime characters such as the Z-Fighters or the Straw Hat Pirates. That might be changing with the new comic series, Batman: Berserk, which reimagines the hero in a darker style similar to the world of Berserk, featuring characters like Guts and the Band of the Hawk.

Prime 1 Studio is releasing a new Batman statue called Batman Berserk: Dark Age Saga (also known as Batman: The Berserker Rage Mode). It depicts Batman as a fierce warrior, clad in armor reminiscent of the style seen around the character Guts from Berserk. The statue costs $1699 and is expected to ship between May and August of next year. You can see a video of this impressive recreation below, and fans are hoping it could hint at a future collaboration between Batman and Guts.

Prime 1 Studio has revealed details about their upcoming Batman statue. It depicts a furious Batman in a new “Berserker Rage Mode,” wielding a massive axe called “Judgment of Faith,” which is actually four weapons combined into one. The 1/4 scale statue shows Batman as a dark, powerful figure bringing justice to a demon-filled world. Prime 1 Studio focused on creating a dynamic pose and incredibly detailed sculpt to bring this vision of the hero to life.

Batman’s Anime History

Although a formal anime crossover between Batman and Berserk hasn’t been announced, Batman is increasingly appearing in anime. Several Batman manga series have offered fresh interpretations of the character, and the Batman: Ninja films have creatively reimagined Gotham City and its heroes. Warner Bros. has also indicated a growing commitment to anime projects, with The Suicide Squad serving as a notable example of their exploration into this medium.

Despite the sad loss of creator Kentaro Miura, fans are still reading Berserk. The story of Guts and the Band of the Hawk continues under the direction of writer Kouji Mori and the artists at Studio Gaga, who aim to finish the series as a tribute to Miura. While there’s no official news yet about a new anime series or movie, it’s likely we’ll see Guts’s adventures adapted for the screen again soon.
