Funko is joining the excitement around Batman Ninja a little later than others, as the first animated film came out in 2018 and the sequel, Batman Ninja vs. Yakuza League, arrived on HBO Max last July. They did previously create a line of ancient warrior Funko Pops with China’s Imperial Palace in 2020 that had a similar feel, but today marks the release of the figures fans have been waiting for.
Funko is now taking pre-orders for new Batman Ninja Pop figures, featuring Batman, The Joker, and Harley Quinn as they appear in the movies. These figures have great costumes and are available just after the release of a similar line of samurai-themed Star Wars Funko Pops – you can see those here: [link to Star Wars Pops].
Batman Ninja Funko Pop Pre-Orders
pre-order at Entertainment Earth
Funko Pop figures featuring Batman, The Joker, and Harley Quinn in their Ninja designs were available for pre-order at Entertainment Earth and Hot Topic starting in January. They’re also expected to be available on Amazon within the next day.
So, I recently checked out Batman Ninja vs. Yakuza League, which is a follow-up to the really cool Batman Ninja from 2018. This time around, the action happens in modern Gotham, but honestly, going back to feudal Japan in the first movie feels pretty tame compared to what happens here. Seriously, a mysterious island called Hinomoto just appears in the sky, and it’s full of Yakuza! Plus, the whole Justice League is missing. If you’re curious to see how it all goes down, you can find it streaming on Max or grab the 4K Blu-ray on Amazon.
