The ongoing second open beta for Battlefield 6 runs until August 17th, and over 300,000 gamers are diving in. Although this surge of players may lead to extended wait times, they’re eagerly queuing up for a chance to experience Electronic Arts’ latest installment in the series. However, the real hurdle for Battlefield 6’s open beta isn’t the queue times; rather, it lies within the game itself, and one specific challenge will be particularly tough to conquer. This weekend introduces fresh challenges, giving players a short window to complete this arduous mission. To finish all the open beta’s tasks, gamers must put forth considerable effort on this difficult assignment.
In the open beta for Battlefield 6, a range of difficulties await players. Some tasks are tied to particular character classes, while others are more universal such as earning kills or assists. However, there’s one challenge that requires completing a specific action within a designated game mode, and it’s certainly not an effortless feat.
Battlefield 6’s Breakthrough Rush Challenge Is a Nightmare
In Battlefield 6, the Breakthrough Rush challenge requires players to seize control of fifteen distinct areas. On the surface, this might seem relatively straightforward; however, certain limitations make it quite challenging. The only way to capture sectors is by participating in the Attack and Defend game mode, which is where the difficulties arise.
In the Attackers’ team-only, players can seize sectors. That implies that during half of your gameplay sessions, you’ll focus on the objective. To capture a sector, however, you must secure two points or plant bombs at two locations – a process that needs to be done fifteen times in order to conquer Breakthrough Rush.
In addition, it’s important to note that the Attack and Defend mode isn’t always accessible during the Battlefield 6 open beta. With a variety of rotating game modes, players will have limited time to complete this challenge, as the beta only runs for four days. To maximize your chances of success, prioritize playing Attack and Defend when it becomes available. If you find yourself on the Defending team and feel that it’s not going well, don’t hesitate to quit the game and rejoin – this could give you a better chance at completing the challenge.
Players who successfully complete the Breakthrough Rush challenge during the open beta for Battlefield 6 will receive the Dominion Weapon Package. This package can be used in the full game but is not accessible during the open beta. Although it doesn’t enhance gameplay, the unique design of the weapon package serves as a token to celebrate finishing this challenge.
The open beta for Battlefield 6 is currently active! The complete game is set to launch this autumn, specifically on October 10th, on platforms including PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
