Electronic Arts and Battlefield Studios have released the first gameplay trailer for Battlefield 6 Season 1, and it’s packed with action! The two-minute video showcases the new maps, Blackwell Fields and Eastwood, which will be available with the Rogue Ops update on October 28th.
According to the official description, Blackwell Fields features a war-torn landscape of buildings and rural areas under a fiery sky, accommodating battles of any size with both ground and air vehicles. Eastwood, on the other hand, transforms a bright California golf course into a dangerous battlefield filled with tanks, helicopters, and intense close-range fighting.

EA Launches Battlefield 6 Season 1 With a Bang
Battlefield 6 had a successful launch on October 10th, and EA is committed to regularly adding new content. Their plan for post-launch updates is divided into three seasons: Rogue Ops, California Resistance, and Winter Offensive. Each season will introduce fresh maps, weapons, and game modes to keep players engaged.

On October 28th, Rogue Ops will be updated with new content, including the Blackwell Fields and Strikepoint locations. Players will also have access to new weapons like the GGH-22 pistol, SOR-300SC carbine, and Mini Scout sniper rifle. The update also introduces the Traverser Mark 2 vehicle, plus new rail covers and LPVO attachments.
On November 18th, the next update, called California Resistance, arrives with a new map called Eastwood and a limited-time Sabotage mode. EA also plans to add at least three new weapons and plenty of cosmetic items for players who keep playing.
Season 1 concludes with the “Winter Offensive” update on December 9th. This update dramatically changes the Empire State map, covering it in snow and ice. Players who enjoy hand-to-hand fighting will also get a new weapon: the Ice Climbing Axe.
