Players of Battlefield 6 anticipated the launch of Season 2 this month, as Season 1 appeared to have concluded in December.
The release date for Season 2 has been delayed, so it will be arriving a bit later than originally planned.
The release date is now set for February 17th. Battlefield Studios explained that this delay will give them more time to improve Season 2 based on what players have been saying.
To make up for the delay, Season 1 is being extended, and will run until Season 2’s new start date.
Beginning January 20th, Season 1 will receive an update, adding fresh weekly challenges to both the main game and REDSEC.
Starting on the 27th, the Frostfire Bonus Path will be available, letting players earn new cosmetics β both free and paid β like weapon packs and soldier skins, as well as experience boosts.
A special Valentine’s Day event is heading to BF6! Expect new daily rewards just for logging in, and double XP weekends throughout the event period.
