Electronic Arts (EA) has just revealed Battlefield REDSEC, a free-to-play battle royale game that launches tomorrow, October 28th, 2025. It’s a separate game, not part of the main Battlefield series.
Fans can look forward to the full reveal, also tomorrow, when the gameplay launch trailer arrives:
We’ve heard bits and pieces about REDSEC before, so it’s helpful to finally have official confirmation.
Okay, so here’s the deal – this new mode is going to be a part of Battlefield 6, which is awesome! But even better, they’re letting everyone play it, even if they don’t buy the new game. You’ll be able to download it and jump in on its own, which is a huge win for fans like me!
