Claudia Winkleman will be hosting her very own chat show next year, the BBC has confirmed.
The Claudia Winkleman Show, made by the team behind The Graham Norton Show, will feature Claudia Winkleman chatting with famous faces from film, TV, music, and other areas, all in front of a live audience.
The TV host is set for a busy 2026, kicking things off with the fourth season of The Traitors on New Year’s Day, and then hosting The Celebrity Traitors later in the year.
Claudia Winkleman expressed her excitement and gratitude after being offered a new opportunity with the BBC. She jokingly admitted she’ll likely be terrible at it, but is thrilled they’re giving her a chance. This news comes after Winkleman recently left her role as host of Strictly Come Dancing, ending her long run on the show alongside Tess Daly.
The couple announced they’d always planned to leave the show together and felt the time was right. In a joint statement, they said they were looking forward to enjoying the rest of the series and expressed immense gratitude to the BBC and the entire show team, calling them brilliant and saying they would be deeply missed.

The Graham Norton Show typically takes a break in the spring and summer, usually finishing its season in February. This now gives Claudia Winkleman the opportunity to host a show in that popular evening timeslot.
We’ll share more information soon about when the show will air and who will be appearing with Winkleman on set. Details are still being finalized.
According to Kalpna Patel-Knight, Head of Entertainment Commissioning at the BBC, Claudia is a beloved and talented personality who effortlessly connects with everyone she meets. She has a gift for making people feel comfortable and bringing out their best, no matter who they are. The BBC is thrilled she’ll be hosting her own show, and they’re eager for audiences to enjoy Claudia and her celebrity guests.
Graham Stuart, from So Television, explained that Graham Norton had made Friday night talk shows incredibly popular. He said the challenge of following such a successful show could only be met by finding a host who was just as talented – and they believe they’ve done that.
The Claudia Winkleman Show launches on BBC One and iPlayer in spring 2026.
