BBC confirms future of A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder – and there’s both good news and bad news

The BBC recently announced what’s next for the popular teen mystery series, A Good Girl’s Guide To Murder, but the news isn’t entirely positive.

Emma Myers, known for her role as Wednesday, plays a young detective in this BBC and Netflix show. She becomes involved in a series of disturbing crimes while trying to help her friends get justice.

The second season of the show is based on Holly Jackson’s popular novel, Good Girl, Bad Blood, and leaves Pip facing increasingly dangerous circumstances.

Now, it’s been confirmed by the BBC and Netflix that the series will return for a third season.

Not only that, but the series has already been filmed.

Unfortunately, the next season, which will be based on the 2021 book As Good as Dead, will be the show’s last.

Following the announcement, Myers, also an executive producer on the show, expressed his excitement about bringing a third season of ‘A Good Girl’s Guide To Murder‘ to viewers. He also thanked everyone for their support of the series.

“This has truly been an incredible experience and Pip will be a character I will never forget.

I especially love book three, and I can’t wait to share what we’ve created with everyone! It’s going to be a wild ride!

Joining Miles Myers as the main detective, the rest of the original cast – including Zain Iqbal (Ravi), Henry Ashton (Max), Asha Banks (Cara), Jude Morgan-Collie (Connor), Eden Hambelton Davies (Jamie), and Yali Topol Margalith (Lauren) – will return to finish the series.

In “As Good As Dead,” Pip and her friends are getting ready to start college, but a recent case she worked on is causing unforeseen problems.

Pip, who hosts a popular true crime podcast, is receiving disturbing online death threats and is being stalked by someone who appears determined to harm her.

With the police not willing to step in, it’s up to her to find the culprit before it’s too late.

Can she prevent this obsessed individual from taking action? And is there a link between this situation and a serial killer apprehended six years prior?

Author Holly Jackson shared her excitement about announcing the third book in the series, saying she’s thrilled to finally bring the story of ‘A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder’ to a dramatic end.

I love ‘As Good As Dead’ the most out of all the books, and it’s definitely my favorite season of the TV show as well.
