BBC confirms return of Amanda Holden for their “gripping, high‑stakes quiz show”

Amanda Holden‘s quiz show, “The Celebrity Inner Circle,” which is full of suspense and excitement, is coming back for another season.

As a huge reality TV fan, I’m completely hooked on this show! The premise is brilliant: regular people team up with celebrities, and they compete together. But here’s the twist – if they make it to the end, they have this incredibly tough choice. They can split the prize money and both win, or they can try to take all of it, potentially leaving their partner with absolutely nothing. It creates so much drama and makes you really wonder how far people will go for the money!

The show’s first season launched late last year, blending gameplay from shows like The Traitors, Golden Balls, and The Weakest Link. It also followed a format similar to the 2001 game show Shafted.

The show’s first season featured six episodes with celebrity guests, and because it was so well-received, the second season will have eight.

The first season featured comedians Lou Sanders and Maisie Adam, both known from the show Last One Laughing with Jimmy Carr. It also included three actors from the popular soap opera EastEnders: Tamzin Outhwaite, Danielle Harold, and Nina Wadia.

The event also welcomed well-known faces like Zara McDermott and Tasha Ghouri from Love Island, JLS singer JB Gill, presenter Jeff Brazier, and Una Healy of The Saturdays, plus many other guests.

According to Kalpna Patel-Knight, BBC’s Head of Entertainment, the new season of The Celebrity Inner Circle will feature celebrities and members of the public teaming up and attempting to deceive each other, all guided by the show’s host, Amanda. The goal is to reach the final round.
