Tribute Games has become well-known for creating enjoyable, old-school-style beat-’em-up games, and their upcoming title continues that tradition.
Next up is Scott Pilgrim EX, and it’s launching soon! The recently released trailer confirms the game will be available on PlayStation 5 starting March 3rd, 2026.
Moreover, the video spotlights a duo of new playable characters, namely Matthew Patel and Robot-01.
Scott, Ramona Flowers, Roxie Richter, and Lucas Lee are already confirmed to appear, and one more character will be announced soon.
I’m really into the story of this game! It’s awesome seeing Scott and Ramona team up with people they used to fight, as they try to figure things out in a Toronto that’s been completely messed up by weird time and space stuff. It’s a wild ride!
Bryan Lee O’Malley, the creator of the original work, is working on this project, along with Paul Robertson, who created the distinctive pixel art style for the Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game, and Anamanaguchi, the band that composed the game’s music.
