The model revealed she’s been prioritizing her health and resting in bed, which is why she missed New York Fashion Week. She shared photos on September 17th that seem to have been taken from a hospital bed.

In the images, Bella is hooked up to IVs, wearing an oxygen mask and seemingly getting a blood transfusion.

“I’m sorry I always go MIA,” she captioned the pics on Instagram, “I love you guys.”

Bella Hadid’s mother, Yolanda Hadid, publicly sent her daughter well wishes and hinted that Bella’s current health issues are related to her ongoing struggle with Lyme disease, writing “Lyme warrior” with a heart emoji.

Her sister, Gigi Hadid, also expressed her affection, writing, “I love you! I hope you feel as strong and good as you deserve, soon!!!!!!”

I’ve been following her story for years, and it breaks my heart to think about everything she’s gone through. She was diagnosed with this tick-borne illness – it’s really scary because the CDC says it can become a long-term, serious health problem if you don’t get treated quickly. She’s been so brave about sharing how it’s impacted her life over the past decade, and I really admire her for it.

In a 2023 Instagram post, she shared that she was over 100 days into treatment and incredibly proud of how far she’d come. She explained that trying to live up to expectations – for herself, her family, and her supporters – while also battling worsening health had been deeply challenging. It was a confusing experience, she wrote, to feel so sad and unwell despite having so much love, privilege, and opportunity in her life.

Bella shared, “Life can be both incredibly difficult and wonderfully amazing, but please remember that things *will* improve if you’re going through a hard time. I truly believe that. Take some time for yourself, stay resilient, trust in where you’re headed, and be true to yourself-you’ll start to see brighter days.”

She explained that growing up, many girls are told that periods are supposed to be painful, and that this pain is just something women have to deal with. This often leaves people feeling like they’re dealing with a difficult and common experience all on their own.

 

In July 2025, the actress from *Daisy Jones & The Six* revealed she was hospitalized for a hernia. This happened because she had been wearing pants that were too tight, which caused a gap in her abdominal muscles.

She messaged Suki on X (formerly Twitter), saying, “You haven’t tweeted in a while!” Then, jokingly, she added, “Have you ever thought maybe I wore pants so tight six months ago that I got a hernia and I’ve been too afraid to mention it?”

The former star of *Beverly Hills, 90210* shared in April 2025 that he was recovering from surgery to repair a nearly ruptured appendix.

Brian shared in an Instagram video that he recently experienced stomach pain, which led him to the emergency room. He discovered he had a perforated appendix – it hadn’t fully burst, but was very close to doing so.

He added, “I’m on the road to recovery. It’s not an easy process. This is my first major surgery.”

During a soccer game against Seattle Reign on September 14th at Lumen Field in Seattle, a midfielder from Racing Louisville collapsed after only a few minutes of play.

According to Reuters, the U.S. Women’s National Team player sat down on the field with a teammate for support as the referee signaled for medical staff. She then collapsed a few seconds later.

After receiving initial medical attention on the field, Savannah was taken to a nearby hospital for more tests. League officials reported she is currently in stable condition and is alert.

Adam Devine revealed that he still feels the effects of injuries he suffered as a child when he was struck by a cement truck at age 11.

“It’s been incredibly difficult,” Devine shared on the *In Depth With Graham Bensinger* podcast in 2025. “I’ve been experiencing spasms all over my body, and doctors actually told me, just within the last year, that my condition was life-threatening.”

Doctors discovered she’d had a small blood clot travel to her brain, which they identified as a TIA, or transient ischemic attack. Further investigation at UCLA revealed Hailey had a hole in her heart, called a patent foramen ovale (PFO). This hole allowed the blood clot to reach her brain, causing the TIA. Hailey has since undergone a successful procedure to close the hole in her heart and is now recovering well.

The same year Hailey faced a health issue, Justin also experienced one. In June 2022, he revealed he had been diagnosed with Ramsay Hunt syndrome, a condition that caused temporary paralysis on one side of his face. This forced him to cancel the remaining dates of his Justice World Tour.

In a video posted to Instagram, Justin explained that the virus attacks nerves in the ear and face, preventing him from blinking, smiling, or moving his nostril on the affected side. He also shared that it was becoming increasingly difficult to eat.

Fortunately, the paralysis eventually went away. Hailey shared on *Good Morning America* that Justin was recovering well, calling the situation scary and random, but assuring everyone he would be okay and was grateful he was on the mend.

Jamie Foxx recently shared details about the health scare he experienced in April 2023, which he had previously kept private. In his 2024 Netflix special, *What Had Happened Was…*, he explained that he was suffering from a severe headache when he suddenly lost consciousness. He doesn’t remember the next twenty days.

Initially, a doctor gave him a cortisone shot and sent him home, but his sister, Deidra Dixon, was worried and took him to the hospital. There, doctors discovered he had a brain bleed that caused a stroke.

Fortunately, Emilia reports that she has now made a full recovery and is at 100%.

Cori Broadus, Snoop Dogg’s daughter, recently shared how much she appreciates her family’s support after a health scare. She faced conflicting diagnoses from different doctors, and ultimately decided to take a holistic approach to finding answers, combining traditional medical advice with alternative healing methods.

This health journey lasted for ten years and led to deeper issues, including fear of food and struggles with body image, identity, and feeling comfortable in her own body. However, Shailene is now happy to report that her physical health has fully recovered. She’s grateful to be feeling well and at peace with her body.
