The Siddiqui family has been on Gogglebox since the very beginning in 2013 and has become beloved by viewers, so people naturally notice when they’re missing from an episode.
Initially, audiences connected with Baasit, Umar, and their father, Sid. Later, they met the rest of the family, including Raza, who hasn’t appeared in the current season.
Viewers of the popular Channel 4 show noticed that Raza was missing, and his family has now shared that he unfortunately fell and broke his ribs before filming began.
The Siddiquis shared an update on social media saying he is recovering well and expects to be back relaxing with them on the sofa in a few weeks.

He’s doing incredibly well with his recovery, maintaining a positive attitude and keeping busy with walks, TV, reading, and spending time with his nephew, Theodore. Your messages and support will mean more to him than any medication could.
So excited to have all four Siddiquis rejoin the cast of @c4gogglebox alongside the other wonderful families!
Everyone’s been sending the family lots of love and hoping for a speedy recovery, which is so lovely to see! Even Izzi Warner from Gogglebox sent a ‘get well soon’ message to Raza, which really warmed my heart.
Gogglebox is back for its 27th season, featuring both longtime favorites and some fresh new viewers sharing their opinions from their couches.
Last season, viewers met several groups: friends Jake and Calum, the Gordon family, married couple Andrew and Alfie, mother-in-law Sara and daughter-in-law Lara, and sisters Rosie and Susie.
